Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 The Heaven-Defying arbitrary shuttle cube

After watching Lu Ming and the others leave, Gian and Suneo rushed in a panic to the lake that Doraemon and the others had created.

Looking down from the lake water, they saw a crowd of people fighting for sunlight.

Seeing this scene, Gian and Suneo were so scared that their faces turned pale and they were covered in a cold sweat.

Gian snapped out of it, turned to Suneo, and said, "Suneo, hurry up and bring the all-purpose construction machine over. We have to seal this hole before they discover us, or else we're both finished."

At this time, Lu Ming and the other three had just flown down from the clouds and saw a group of people gathered on the back mountain, fighting for spots to dry their clothes.

Among them, a middle-aged man wearing a blue checkered short-sleeved shirt stood on his tiptoes. While hanging clothes, he happened to look toward the hole in the clouds, holding a soaking wet shirt in his hand.

"Everyone, come look!" the man suddenly shouted loudly. "There seem to be people up on those clouds!"

The surrounding residents gathered around one after another. Some held binoculars, while others squinted their eyes to get a better look.

Seeing this, Lu Ming and the others also crowded over. They saw Gian and Suneo standing by the lake at the opening in the clouds.

Gian was gesturing wildly while saying something to Suneo. Their figures were faintly visible under the sunlight.

Just then, an older woman shouted in surprise, "There really are people up there!" Could it be that this strange cloud has been staying here because the people up there are playing tricks?

Hearing this, the crowd's anger was ignited. They all said, "I'm sure they're the ones behind it." The aunt who had been complaining earlier said indignantly, "My clothes have been out all morning and haven't dried at all; it's all their fault."

The man who had discovered Gian and Suneo grew angrier the more he thought about it. He picked up a small stone from the ground and threw it forcefully toward Gian on the clouds.

The stone traced a parabola in the air, flying toward Gian on the clouds, but unfortunately, the stone couldn't fly nearly that high.

Just then, Suneo walked over carrying the all-purpose construction machine. Gian stepped forward to take it, just about to turn on the machine to seal the big hole.

However, he saw the crowd below pointing and gesturing at them. Seeing that they couldn't come up, Gian began to act arrogant again.

He stood at the edge of the hole, cupped his hands around his mouth like a megaphone, and shouted arrogantly at the people on the ground.

"Come up if you have the ability! I want to see if you can actually make it up here!

Ha... haha!"

Suneo also poked his head out from the edge of the clouds and shouted smugly, "You people on the ground can't enter our kingdom at all!"

The residents on the ground became even more furious, picking up branches and stones to throw at the clouds.

But the stones and branches fell back down before they could fly very high, unable to harm Gian and Suneo at all.

Watching this scene, Doraemon was so angry that steam was coming out of his head. But then his eyes suddenly lit up as he pulled the anywhere door out of his four-dimensional pocket.

"I have an idea! Watch me."

With that, Doraemon placed the anywhere door on the ground. He put his round little hand on the doorknob, twisted it open, and the scene of Gians Kingdom appeared on the other side.

"Everyone, follow me! I'll take you over there and make them apologize to everyone!"

Hearing this, the crowd immediately perked up. One by one, they followed Doraemon into the anywhere door.

On the other side of the door, Gian was still shouting at the ground, with Suneo standing beside him, looking like a lackey riding on someone else's coattails.

Suddenly, the anywhere door appeared behind them, and the furious crowd rushed in, surrounding the two of them.

Seeing so many adults, Gian immediately lost his composure but still tried to act calm: "You... how did you get in?"

The man in the blue checkered shirt stepped forward and grabbed Gian and Suneo by their ears.

He said fiercely, "So it was you two kids who used the clouds to block the sun, making it impossible for us to dry our clothes!

You've turned our lives into a mess. Today, you must restore these clouds to their original state."

"That's right! Restore the clouds!" the residents echoed, their voices deafening.

Suneo was so scared he hid behind Gian. Gian looked at the angry crowd and then at the soldiers he had molded out of clouds behind him.

In the end, he lowered his head: "We... we know we were wrong. We'll restore the clouds right now."

Doraemon walked out from the crowd, took the cloud restoration gas out of his four-dimensional pocket, and handed it to Gian and Suneo.

Seeing the matter resolved, the crowd returned to the ground through the anywhere door, leaving only Suneo and Gian on the clouds with their bamboo copters, spraying the restoration gas.

Lu Ming's gaze had been fixed on that pair of large pink doors ever since Doraemon took out the anywhere door.

Detailed information about the anywhere door flashed through his mind.

The anywhere door, a daily teleportation tool produced in the 22nd century, is typically used for long-distance travel.

When using it, simply hold the doorknob, think of the place you want to go in your mind, and open the door to arrive.

As usual, Lu Ming first read the detailed information on the manufacturing method and the upgrade plan.

After imprinting the manufacturing method and upgrade plan into his mind, Lu Ming checked the details of the final upgrade plan.

The arbitrary shuttle cube is a concept-level item. It opens up a massive four-dimensional space to house a giant eternal energy core to provide power.

This item possesses the ability to travel through time and spatial dimensions. As long as one thinks of the time and spatial location, a single thought will bring them there.

When traveling to dangerous areas or encountering environments where it is difficult for the owner to survive, it will automatically generate an absolute life-protection safety field.

Even if you accidentally teleport into the interior of a collapsing neutron star, this field can guarantee your life and safety.

Next to the upgrade plan, there was also a note that made Lu Ming excited.

It stated that this item belongs to the concept level; even if you randomly imagine a non-existent scene or a place where time does not flow...

This item can find a place in infinite worlds that is exactly as you imagined it. This item can only be bound to one owner for life.

Is this why it's rated as concept-level?

Once again, Lu Ming was so shocked by the heaven-defying effects of the item before him that he couldn't snap out of it.

But what Lu Ming found even more unbelievable was that he felt in his heart that making this arbitrary shuttle cube wasn't difficult—it even felt very simple.

He didn't even know if this feeling was an illusion, but he just felt that he could easily accomplish anything related to manufacturing.

Just then, Shizuka, who was beside him, patted the pensive Lu Ming, bringing him back to his senses.

"Lu Ming, is this your first time seeing the anywhere door?" Shizuka looked at Lu Ming and smiled. "I was just as shocked as you when I first saw it."

"Yeah, I was also very shocked when Doraemon first took out the anywhere door," Nobita said from the side. "But after seeing so many of Doraemon's gadgets, you can look at them with a calm mind."

Lu Ming smiled awkwardly, not knowing what to say. He wasn't shocked just because he saw the anywhere door.
