Chapter 40 - Chapter 40 Everyone Resurrected

The all-purpose printer floated in mid-air, emitting a soft white light and projecting six soul phantoms onto the ground, lined up from tallest to shortest.

Starting from the tallest, Tanjuro, they were lined up in order: Kamado Kie, Takeo, Hanako, Shigeru, and Rokuta.

The figures of several people were outlined under the pure white light, printing slowly upwards from their toes.

In this soft white light, though the printing speed was consistent, the differences in body size and height caused the completion times to gradually diverge.

In just over twenty seconds, the smallest, Rokuta, was the first to be printed out from the pure white halo.

Little Rokuta had just been printed when he opened his dazed eyes. Shaking his head in confusion, he remembered the bloody monster from last night, and his body began to tremble.

It wasn't until he saw Tanjiro and Nezuko not far away that he snapped out of his fear, running towards Tanjiro and Nezuko on his small legs.

As he ran, he cried out, "Big brother, there was a scary monster last night! He killed everyone!" Rokuta paused there.

Coming to his senses, Rokuta kept feeling his body, but finding no wounds, he finally stopped.

Looking at Tanjiro, he said somewhat sadly, "Am I already dead? But seeing that big brother and big sister are okay is such a relief!"

Hearing those words, Nezuko and Tanjiro pulled him into their arms. Rokuta, being held, looked at them blankly.

"I... I'm not dead? I remember a blood-red spike growing out from behind that monster last night and piercing through me," Rokuta thought in confusion.

At this moment, Shigeru had also just been printed. Seeing Tanjiro and Nezuko, he burst into loud tears. Although his body was still shaking uncontrollably, he still ran towards Tanjiro.

Just then, the printing of Hanako's body reached its end. She let out a cry of surprise and stood firm, her small hand instinctively touching her neck, where a lingering sharp pain seemed to remain.

She touched her neck, and after finding no wounds, she breathed a sigh of relief. She turned to look at the people in front of her, finally resting her gaze on Tanjiro.

The original fear on her face instantly turned into a sense of grievance, and she also threw herself toward Tanjiro, crying.

Immediately after, Takeo's figure also finished printing.

In the soft white light, Takeo's figure stood steady. Although his body was still trembling because of the monster from last night, he still stood straight.

He looked blankly at his surroundings, which were enveloped in soft white light, and looked up at the large, pure white sphere of light in the sky.

There were also two familiar figures in the white light. Although they were only half-formed, he recognized their identities at a glance.

He looked around again and saw the small Lu Ming as well as Tomioka Giyu nearby. Then, he was drawn by the crying of his younger siblings.

He saw his eldest brother, Tanjiro, holding their younger siblings, as well as his elder sister Nezuko. He walked quickly to Tanjiro, looking at him with a furrowed brow. "Big brother! What on earth is going on?"

He pointed his finger at the half-formed parents under the large sphere of light and asked Tanjiro.

Seeing this, Tanjiro explained the whole situation to him.

Takeo widened his eyes at Lu Ming, who was about his age, and the large sphere of light that was constantly emitting white light. "You're saying we were all resurrected by that large sphere of light?"

Although it was hard to believe, remembering the scene from last night where he was split in two by a whip growing from behind that monster, he had no choice but to believe it.

While Takeo was still in shock, the printing of their mother's body had only reached her chest.

At this moment, Tomioka Giyu was speechless as he watched the miraculous scene before him, looking at Lu Ming with eyes as if he were looking at a god.

Not to mention whether turning a demon into a human was possible, resurrecting the dead was simply impossible. Yet right before his eyes, several people who had long been dead were coming back to life, even as their broken corpses still lay in pools of blood.

Tomioka Giyu wanted to invite Lu Ming to join the Demon Slayer Corps, but looking at himself, did he even have the right to invite a god to join them?

Tomioka Giyu asked himself with a sense of inferiority, a feeling so deep that even opening his mouth became difficult!

Soon, Tanjiro's mother, Kamado Kie, also finished printing. As soon as she stood firm, she instinctively gripped the hem of her clothes, her body trembling with fear and her brow furrowed.

Her eyes were full of unease and terror, and the memory of the sharp pain from a demon's claws tearing her body apart still lingered in her mind. She looked around uneasily at the familiar scene.

However, she looked up and saw a large sphere of light emitting soft white light above her, along with a familiar figure beside her.

But this figure didn't have the head she was familiar with!

She was startled by the scene before her, feeling an inexplicable fear as she looked at her headless husband.

Just then, Tanjiro's shout reached her ears. "Mother!"

Hearing Tanjiro's shout, Kie looked in the direction of the sound and saw Tanjiro holding his younger siblings, calling out to her.

Seeing Tanjiro, Nezuko, and the others made her heart race suddenly. "What's going on? Wasn't I... already killed by that monster?"

"Could it be that Tanjiro and the others were also killed by that monster, just like me?" Kie murmured in despair.

Seeing his mother's breakdown, Tanjiro rushed to her side. "Mother, it's okay! We're not dead," the gentle Tanjiro comforted his mother softly.

Tanjiro's younger siblings also chattered to their mother about the current situation. After understanding what was happening, Kamado Kie's cheeks flushed red as she looked at Lu Ming and the nearby Tomioka Giyu.

Then she turned her gaze to her husband, who was the last to be resurrected. At this time, the printing of Tanjuro's body was also nearing its end.

As the white light dissipated, the Lord God returned to Lu Ming's side and was taken back into the Manufacturing Space.

Kamado Kie looked at the eyes-closed Tanjuro, her eyes filled with expectation, hoping her husband could come back to life and support the whole family.

Kamado Kie looked at the familiar figure before her and the familiar haori he was wearing!

With the final printing complete, Tanjuro opened a pair of sharp eyes. Although his frame was thin, his sharp aura still made Tomioka Giyu feel a bit of pressure.

Tomioka Giyu looked in surprise at this man who had come back to life; without having practiced any Breathing Style, he could actually possess such a powerful aura.

Opening his eyes, Tanjuro withdrew his sharp aura and looked blankly at the familiar surroundings, as if he hadn't yet recovered from the coldness of death!

He moved his limbs, feeling the sense of ease that this healthy body brought him.

He looked down at his hands and murmured softly, "Is this... Hell? But why do I feel like I'm still alive?"

While he was still lost in confusion, Kamado Kie had already thrown herself forward, hugging him tightly.
