Once there was a greedy dog. One day it stole a piece of meat from a butcher's shop. The dog ran away and crossed a river over a bridge.
While crossing the bridge, the dog saw its own reflection in the water. It thought the reflection was another dog with a bigger piece of meat. Being greedy, the dog opened its mouth to snatch that meat.
As soon as it opened its mouth, its own piece of meat fell into the water and was lost. Thus, the greedy dog lost everything.
Moral:
Greed brings grief.
