Dad dropped me in front of the pack house, reminded me to stay away from any trouble, and drove away to the training grounds. I took a deep breath and walked inside. As soon as I stepped inside the pack house, I met Page standing there as if waiting for someone.
"Hey Beth, I was waiting for you," she said with a beaming smile.
"Why are you waiting here for me?'' I asked her with a frown.
"I am the daughter of the ex-gamma and sister of the current gamma. So I live here inside the pack house. And Alpha Alex asked me to wait here for you so I can show you to his office for your duties," she said with a wink. Then she linked her arm with mine and started pulling me towards the stairs that go to the Alpha's office on the second floor.
"You know, I am here for my detention, am I right?" I asked her as we climbed the stairs.
