Chapter 13 - Hellish training

"So how does this work, Odin?"

"Hmm, well, I'll explain in detail. If you learn a skill, it will appear in the system I designed in your consciousness. As soon as you read the skill description and understand it, its concept, which is in your mind, or in other words, your consciousness, will automatically appear on the system screen and tell you the skill's requirements, give you background information about it, and measure its strength if you know it."

Odin continued his long explanation and said,

"And it will make things easier for you and for some things, like explaining skills without me having to explain things. It will appear in the skills window and for you. On the one hand, it will make things easier for you in learning and memorizing. There are other benefits. As soon as you memorize the terrain and geography of a place and understand it and memorize it well, the system, based on what you understand in your consciousness, will show you a miniature map of the place. On the other hand, it will show you information about the tools you have with you and, of course, the information that you understand in your consciousness."

"That's really good. So it will make things easier for me, but its only downside is that it depends on what I understand in my mind and appears based on it. But despite that, it's really good."

Odin added, "Don't worry, boy. If you can find one of my blessings, elements, or weapons later, perhaps there's a shard of my soul or a remnant of my magic. If you absorb and reabsorb it, my strength will increase, and perhaps I can improve the assist system a little to make it more useful."

"That's really great! I hope so. But what are your tools, blessings, and weapons?"

Odin replied, waving his hand. "Don't worry about it. If we're lucky enough to find one, I'll know it automatically. Until then, be content with what you have."

"Anyway, let's start with your training schedule."

I looked eagerly, ready to train after all. When I looked at the system screen, I was filled with hope. "Finally, now you're going to teach me."

Now your schedule will be from morning till night, training agility, endurance, speed, and strength all at once until...

I looked at him in shock. This was the opposite of what I expected. Odin was standing in front of me, folding his arms and smiling.

I looked at him in astonishment and confusion. "How do you want me to do all this at once?"

Odin smiled maliciously. "You will tie heavy weights to your hands and feet, and you will train with them and run with them. You will do everything, and you are not allowed to take them off during this week. At the same time, while you are wearing them, you must do any daily thing in your life. I don't care whether it is defecating or urinating or anything, you must keep wearing them."

I looked in shock at the man standing in front of me. After all, these exercises are strong and harsh, and he was not satisfied with his malicious smile and mocking look, but he was laughing. He enjoys torturing me and mocking me. 'He is completely crazy.'

"Damn it, are you serious?!" After I said those words, I was looking in his facial expression for mockery, but it was the opposite.

"What do you think, boy? I will make you taste hell this week. I will strengthen your body and muscles and make you stronger and more flexible."

"So when will we train in the morning?"

"Right now." Odin smiled slyly and looked at me as if waiting for some reaction from me. Suddenly,

a purple, slightly glowing dimensional tablet appeared in front of me.

 {Important Notice: Hellish Training Begins}

 Mission Content:

You must train intensely throughout this week until your mission date. You must train hard to avoid dying during the mission.

Mission Objectives: {Increase Strength to 10}, {Speed: 16}, and Stamina to { 14. }

Failure: Risk of death during the mission.

Success: Survival and return alive.

"Huh? What?!"

Odin said slyly. "It seems I forgot to tell you that it's not just related to your body, but also to your mind. Anything you deem important will be displayed in detail on your screen, along with the consequences you'll recognize if you fail and the rewards you'll receive if you succeed."

"Damn it, so that's how it is. It all depends on my perception."

"Good that you understand. That means if you've been deceived and you believed it, it's because you're stupid. The system's job is to show you what you perceive and understand. It's merely a measure, a reminder, and a record of what's in your mind, not to think for you or read people's intentions."

Now, let's begin the exercise. Do 1000 squats, 1000 push-ups, and 30 sprints while holding the weights. Gradually, the weights will increase.

 Damn hell

.....

.....

"Ugh, hah hah, damn it." I feel pain in every muscle, and this is only the first 9 hours of training.

Come on, come on, there are still 2 kilometers waiting to be run.

"Ugh, damn it, damn it."

I was running and all I felt was burning and pain. My body wanted me to stop. My heart was pounding wildly, and my clothes were stuck to my body because of the sweat... Ha ha.

I fell to the ground, and the sun started to appear. Ha, I was panting heavily.

"Hmm, that's good for a whore, but not for a warrior. Take an hour's rest, and then we'll continue."

I was lying there panting so hard that I didn't hear what Odin said. My heart was pounding wildly, and my body was hurting terribly and wanted to rest, but it seemed that because of this madman, I wouldn't be stopping anytime soon.

After that, I was suffering hell. Seconds turned into hours. My body hurt terribly and screamed for me to stop... But why should I stop? Just because my body wanted to stop? Well, unfortunately for it, I follow my mind, not my heart.

"Ha ha, panting, I walked until I reached under a palm tree and sat in its shade." "Ugh, damn it, he's crazy! How am I going to endure like this?"

After five minutes,

"Come on, come on, you bastard! You have a training exercise to do. Stand up, be a man, and fight to survive! Come on, come on, come on! Start running like a madman until you die!"

"Damn it! Damn my life! Someone save me from this lunatic!"

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!" Oden was laughing maniacally.
