I mentioned the Ranks and stages Im going to go in depth now because for the life of me I cant remember
Ranks start 1 - 9
MOST humans starts at 0 awakening their core through harsh training, beginning at the Physical State of cultivation or just Physical state it grants you a weak Red core its the most common core, it has no other uses besides allowing you to augment your physical abilities such as speed, strength etc using your Qi so everyone at the Red core has to rely on their weapons,items and battle spirits as they cant manipulate and not generate elemental energy.
Next is the Orange core or the Core Refining State it expands your core and meridians increasing the speed your Chi forms as well as the amount you have. Next is Yellow or Elemental State allows you to wield and transfer your Chi to Elemental Energy upon reaching this state allows you to incorporate Energy attacks in your combat and each person who reaches this state have affinity/understanding of a certain element making their abilities with that element more potent
Green Core - Valiant State
You can tap into reserves of external energy, mixing you Qi with the Heaven and Earth Qi essential giving you multiple times the Qi reserves
Cyan Core - Sublime State
Allows you to Create a sphere of influence made of entirely of your own qi so its not a move that can be spammed too many times, inside the Sub-sphere you can apply one of your affinities and as long as the Target isn't a Class above you they cant escape without destroying the barrier or injuring you heavily, if they destroy the sphere similarly to when a Battle Spirit is injured or destroy you'll be injured in turn and your Sub-Sphere will be on a cooldown, yes Sub spheres can clash like Jjk but you dont necessarily have to be in your sphere you can uses it for targets further away from you.
Blue Core - Supreme State
You become immortal as in upon death unless targeted your soul doesn't perish, you become immortal as in Ageless so you cant die of old age ,but you could still be completely obliterated and die that way
I havent thought of the Unique abilities of these States yet
Next is Violet Core - Acendent state
Next is Purple Core - Transcendent State
Last is White Core - Deity State
Battle Spirit Ranks
A Red battle spirit is the equivalent of a 1-2 Rank Cultivator, a Red battle spirit of someone at the Rank 4 Valiant/Green Core with a red battle spirit would be at the level of Rank 1 Green Core cultivator
Red Spirit = Rank 1
Orange Spirit = Rank 2
Yellow Spirit = Rank 3
Green Spirit = Rank 4-5
Cyan Spirit = Rank 5-6
Blue Spirit = Rank 7
Violet spirit = Rank 8
Purple Spirit = Rank 9
White Spirit = Rank 9 ½
Any Spirit Yellow or above that have affinities can bestow them to their User so Let's say my Yellow Water Snake Battle spirit Is water based but I naturally have fire affinity then I now have both affinities, Green battle spirit can grant their special trait to the user say My Green Tortoise battle spirit has excellent defense, I now also have an amazing defense at the Peak of Rank 5 almost Rank 6 and have natural armor as well as the ability to swim very well
Cyan battle spirits allow you to Fuse with your battle spirit.
You can have several battle spirits its just very rare most have only one, a few have 2 or even 3!
Spirit Beasts are Creatures who can cultivate, some have wisdom and intellect on par or surprising humans.
Demonic Beasts are mad animals who wish to consume to grow in strength, it leads to death either through being killed or dying while breaking through Ranks. In special cases as Demonic beast can evolve and Become a Devil allowing them to become a humanoid being, as well as cleansing their meridians and core and expelling their Demonic Qi all pure blooded Devils dont possess battle spirit but innate spirits, so their Devil form is essentially their demon form which is equivalent to the boost a Blue Rank battle spirit grants its user, so a Snake Devil would be able to take on human form, gain Poison affinity, the innate ability to spit acidic venom, scales and then transform into a full massive demonic serpent or do a halfway transformation and fight as a half man half serpent, Devil procreation spawns more devils so Devils children are born as Devils and not Demonic Beasts, Devils are still prone to violence but they can easily control their darker urges usually.
Demonic cultivators are cultivators who have struggled to break through or who seek an easy path to power through eating a few strong foes or many Ordinary people, this accumulates madness their Demonic Qi is more potent than regular Qi, by how much? Idk whatever i feel like i guess.
Weapons
Can do anything the plot demands.
Heaven and Earth
Everything derives power from Heaven and Earth as in Existence itself, the power of flame or Elemental abilities stem from Heaven and Earth, the elements are simply the myriad of ways cultivators hsve discovered to harness the supreme might of
Heaven and Earth.
There are other Humanoid races that I'll eventually incorporate such as the Sovereigns of Water who is a Mermaid
I'll also incorporate the Devils, Elves, Undead cultivators
