Chapter 7 - 7: Night Out In Bangkok

Night Out in Bangkok

The city pulsed around them, neon lights reflecting off wet streets as rain from earlier glittered on the pavement. Niran followed Kai silently, trying to keep up, heart hammering in his chest.

"This place is… intense," Niran muttered, eyes wide at the upscale club they were entering. The music throbbed, bass vibrating through the floor, bodies moving in rhythm under the flashing lights.

Kai didn't answer immediately. He led Niran past the crowd with practiced ease. Every head turned, every whisper followed them, but Kai's presence made it clear: no one dared interfere.

"You're not used to this world," Kai said finally, his hand brushing lightly against Niran's. Possessive. Claiming.

Niran's stomach twisted. "I… I guess not."

Kai's eyes darkened. "Good. You'll learn. You'll see why I'm different from everyone else."

They reached a private booth, secluded in shadow, away from prying eyes. Marco was already there, nodding at Kai in silent approval.

Niran swallowed. "Why… why are you showing me this?"

Kai leaned closer, his hand brushing Niran's cheek. "Because I want you to see me. All of me. The part I can't show everyone else."

The heat of his hand made Niran shiver. Every nerve in his body screamed awareness. Desire. Fear. Thrill.

"You trust me?" Kai asked softly.

"Yes," Niran whispered, though uncertainty twisted inside him.

Kai smirked. "Good. You'll need that trust tonight."

The night stretched, a dizzying mix of music, movement, and subtle danger. Every glance from Kai was possessive, every brush of skin deliberate. Niran felt the pull of the boy beside him, a magnetic intensity that left him trembling.

When a rival group glanced their way, Marco's presence was enough to make them back down. Niran realized the world Kai moved in was dangerous—but Kai himself was danger incarnate, and he wanted to be close, despite every warning in his mind.

"You're mine tonight," Kai whispered, lips brushing Niran's ear. Possessive. Dominant. Electric.

Niran's breath caught. He didn't resist.

Not once.

Bangkok's neon lights blurred around them as Niran understood the truth.

Kai was dangerous.

Kai was intoxicating.

And Kai had claimed him.

There was no escaping.

And he didn't want to.
