Chapter 1 - Searching

Taking a dump in the middle of the night is scary. My mind was all over the place, thinking about anything. A question popped up in my head: what happens to people when they die? I'm a Christian, yes, but I couldn't help but wonder. Do you know when it's time to say goodbye to this wonderful world or what? What are the final moments like? It can't be happiness for sure. Some people die in the worst ways. I don't think they're happy in those last moments. There must be a catch to this. I'm not aware of it yet, but I will be for sure soon. That night, I didn't get enough sleep. I woke up very late. My shift was at 10 am, and there I was at 9:55, still trying to lock the gate. As soon as the gate got locked, I ran off to work. I stopped by the robots, and there she was – the reason why I'm here in this hospital, I think. Early on, when we passed each other, she was mumbling something about Forbidden Truth. I stopped and looked at her and said, "What?" She just turned around and said, "Forbidden Truth, you know about it too." She winked at me and put her fingers on her mouth. I couldn't process it, so I walked on a red light and almost got hit by a car. I fainted and got the answer I need. If I discover the Forbidden Truth, that's the end, I believe. I almost died today, and that is enough proof I need. And I need to find that girl ASAP.
