After the negotiation meeting , the peaks lords tried to find ways to meet up with Shen Jiumei again and finally got a chance during the wedding banquet for Su Xiyan and Tianlang Jun when Luo Binghe and Shen Jiumei were separated and immediately approached Shen Jiumei to try their luck to befriend him again .
" your highness , it's nice to meet you again " said Yue Qingyuan
" well not for me , i thought i made it clear i didn't want to see you " said Shen Jiumei with a disgusted look in his eyes .
" I just want to be friends " said Yue Qingyuan
" well i don't so leave me alone " said Shen Jiumei as he tried to walk away only to stopped by Liu Qingge
" wait what about me can we be friends " said Liu Qingge with hopeful eyes which dimmed when he heard Shen Jiumei's cold reply
" no , never in a million years and definitely not with you little friend group either" said Shen Jiumei as he tried to bypass Liu Qingge only to be stopped by Qi Qingqi again and tried to walk pass her only to be stopped by her again
" what " said Shen Jiumei with a furious tone
" why can't we be friends " said Qi Qingqi with a pleading tone .
" there are 2 reasons , first you tried to kill my husband " said Shen Jiumei.
" but we already apologized for that " said Wei Qingwei.
" well i know you didn't mean the apology , you only withdrew your swords after seeing my face and was looking at me with happiness and regret which is creepy because we have never met and that's leads to the second reason , you guys give off a bad feeling and do not understand common simple words to leave me alone " said Shen Jiumei
The Peak Lords were speechless when they heard what Shen Jiumei had said and realized they would never be able to get a good relationship with him and deeply regretted their rash actions that have led up to now.
" we understand we will not disturb you again " said Mu Qingfang as the peak lords left dejectedly .
Seeing they were gone , Shen Jiumei breath a sigh of relief and immediately left to find Luo Binghe and saw him been pestered by Xiao Gongzhu making his eyes flash with anger . After getting his husband away from her , Shen Jiumei immediately hugged Luo Binghe and pouted saying " why did you talk with her "
" i didn't want to she was the one pestering me but don't worry , I'll make it up to you tonight " said Luo Binghe.
After the banquet got wrapped up , Luo Binghe and Shen Jiumei retired to their rooms , as they both got ready for bed , Shen Jiumei clung to Luo Binghe and said " Husband , you said you will make it up to me so i would like some children "
" really , then what ever Jiu er wishes " said Luo Binghe as he immediately took Shen Jiumei to bed ready to fulfill his beloved wishes . Meanwhile , the peaks lords had sat together to think about their interaction with Shen Jiumei.
" i didn't think he'd dislike us this much " said Qi Qingqi.
" i know i didn't realize the way we acted around him was weird to him" said Yue Qingyuan
" i thought he would see our persistence and be friends with us but it seems that wasn't the case all along " said Liu Qingge.
" should we try again " asked Wei Qingwei
" no , we shouldn't make it worse, we can only wish him luck from now on " said Mu Qingfang.
The peak lords finally decide to stop pestering Shen Jiumei and decided to guard him from the shadows.
