Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 Nickname Yu Xiaosan? Tang San was stunned. A nickname with a surname?

He was quite clear about Ye Xian's strength and methods.

He had just been completely powerless to resist.

  Ye Xian curled his lips,

"I'm not interested. If you want to fight, go ahead."

Wang Sheng was obviously a little confused.

He then realized that his new dormitory leader seemed to have a very aloof personality.

  "Slap—~!"

Just then, Ye Xian patted Wang Sheng's shoulder.

The sudden action startled the latter.

  Then he smiled,

"The martial world isn't about fighting and killing."

  "It's about human relationships."

  "Understand?"

  Wang Sheng nodded repeatedly.

Then he quickly ran to Xiao Wu's side and whispered,

"That's our dormitory leader. He has a bad temper."

"Don't mess with him unless it's absolutely necessary, understand?"

  Xiao Wu's face showed surprise,

  "Leader?"

The good-looking and aloof boy in front of her was actually the leader here.

  She really didn't expect it.

Xiao Wu nodded, went into the dormitory, and chose an empty bed.

It happened to be right next to Tang San.

Just then, a teacher brought over two quilts that Yu Xiaogang had ordered.

One was for Tang San, and the other was for Ye Xian.

Clearly, having failed to become a disciple, he wasn't giving up.

  Ye Xian naturally didn't refuse.

Why not take advantage of freebies?

But becoming a disciple? Forget about it.

Xiao Wu then successfully shared half the quilt with Tang San.

On the surface, he seemed reluctant, but inwardly, Tang San was overjoyed.

Ye Xian, watching this scene, chuckled to himself.

Perfect, perfect for a group of humiliations later.

At lunchtime, Ye Xian generously treated the entire dormitory to lunch.

Wang Sheng then realized that this new leader was quite kind.

Except for Tang San, who had been called away by Yu Xiaogang midway through the meal,

  everyone ate happily.

Except for the sullen Xiao Wu.

Among the many dishes Ye Xian ordered was a spicy and delicious hand-shredded rabbit.

  Everyone else ate with relish.

Xiao Wu, however, deliberately shifted her gaze to the other dishes,

not wanting to even glance at them.

Meanwhile, Tang San followed Yu Xiaogang to the latter's dormitory.

As soon as they entered the room, Yu Xiaogang pulled a paper package from his pocket and handed it to Tang San, saying,

"You're at the age where you're growing, the food can't be too bad." Tang San was   stunned for a

  moment,

then opened the package. Inside were two chicken legs and a steamed bun. He was completely dumbfounded.   He had just witnessed Ye Xian order a lot of fancy food,   but none of it had even been served yet.   Yet Yu Xiaogang assumed Tang San couldn't afford to eat.   The two chicken legs made his lips twitch.   This was a huge loss!   He could have   gotten a free meal, but Yu Xiaogang had snatched it away.   Seeing Tang San's hesitant, downcast look,   Yu Xiaogang assumed he was deeply moved by his gesture.   He immediately pretended to be nonchalant about the matter and said with a slightly serious tone,   "No need to be so grateful to me. After all, I'm your godfather now, so naturally I have to take responsibility for you."   "Eat quickly, I still have something to tell you after you finish eating."   Tang San could only agree and start eating.   The chicken leg was not bad, and Tang San was quite satisfied.   However, that dry steamed bun, which seemed to be from some unknown year, almost made him choke to death.   Meanwhile, Yu Xiaogang was rummaging through drawers and cabinets, seemingly looking for some documents.   He didn't even get a glass of water poured for him.

Finally, Yu Xiaogang found the information he needed.

He analyzed the contents for a moment, and a satisfied smile appeared on his face.

Yu Xiaogang looked at Tang San, about to speak, when a thought suddenly occurred to him.

Since Tang San was his son now, it was inappropriate to still address him by his full name.

Therefore, why not give Tang San a nickname?

Thinking this, Yu Xiaogang nodded to himself,

"Now we can be considered father and son."

"In that case, I can no longer call you by your full name."

"How about your godfather gives you a nickname?"

Tang San, who was choking on his steamed bun, almost stretched his neck out the window. He

  immediately rolled his eyes.

Without even raising his head, he nodded in agreement.

A godfather giving his godson a nickname wasn't a problem.

A satisfied smile appeared on Yu Xiaogang's face. After   a   moment's thought,

  Tang

San blurted out,   "Then how about I call you Yu Xiao San from now on?"   "Cough cough cough cough,"   Tang San coughed violently upon hearing this,   quickly swallowing the steamed bun that had been stuck in his throat.   Why a three-character nickname? "   Xiao San" was fine;   his father called him that at home too.   But what was with this "Yu"?   He looked at Yu Xiaogang with some confusion,   "Godfather, why is there a 'Yu' before my nickname?"   Yu Xiaogang's lips curled into a confident smile,   "You might not know, but my formal name is Yu Xiaogang!"   "You're my godson, so naturally, the nickname I gave you will have my surname."   Tang San was completely dumbfounded.   A nickname with a surname?   Did such a thing exist?   He'd never heard of it before.   He stared at Yu Xiaogang in disbelief, frozen in place.   Seeing Tang San's reaction, Yu Xiaogang was immediately displeased.   "What? Are you unwilling?"   "Or do you dislike the nickname your godfather gave you?"   Tang San didn't dare to speak, though he wanted to say both.   But given the current situation, he could only keep it to himself.   "No, no, I really like the name my godfather gave me."   Tang San forced a smile. Yu   Xiaogang nodded in satisfaction .   "That's more like it!"   "This nickname makes you seem more like my disciple!"   "Don't worry, your godfather will do everything in his power to impart all his knowledge to you."   Hearing this, Tang San finally showed a genuine smile.   After suffering so many losses, he was finally able to learn something real.   That was worth it!   As the saying goes, suffering is a blessing. Indeed, that   's true.   Yu Xiaogang then turned his attention to the documents on his desk.   Then he looked up at Tang San,   "You're six years old this year, with innate full soul power and twin martial souls."   "Release your other martial soul so I can see it."   Tang San nodded. His godfather already knew he had twin martial souls, so there was nothing to hide.   [Ding! Detected Yu Xiaogang discovering Tang San's second martial soul, the Clear Sky Hammer!]   [Chosen Encounter Triggered!]   [Encounter Entries: Black light surged forth, Tang San condensed his second martial soul, the Clear Sky Hammer!]   [The host can choose to modify the entries, thus affecting the original outcome of Tang San's iconic scene.]   [Successful intervention will grant a reward: 500 points of system essence!]   Just then, the system's voice suddenly appeared in Ye Xuan's mind as he ate in the cafeteria.   After a moment's thought, he picked up a piece of meat and put it in his mouth. Then   he silently gave the system the command,   "Change 'hammer' to 'bamboo shoot'."   (End of Chapter)
