world of TAE

**this contains spoilers for future characters*

World Name: Elyndor

Continents (major):

Aetheria — Primary human continent, politically dominant and most populous. Capital city: Valoria (magnificent walled metropolis with grand spires, royal palace, magical districts, and the prestigious Sylvania Academy at its heart).

Sylvania Academy is the world's top institute for magic, combat arts, alchemy, rune forging, and leadership, accepting students from all species through rigorous entrance exams, royal nominations, or rare scholarships—serving as a neutral hub where inter-species alliances form, rivalries ignite, and destinies unfold.

Sylvandar — Eastern forested continent, home to ancient elven kingdoms with towering tree-cities and deep nature magic.

Drakmoor — Northern volcanic lands, rich in minerals but harsh; inhabited by dwarves and other earth-affinity races.

Umbravale — Southern shadowy realms, home to beastkin tribes and darker magic practitioners.

Species (besides humans):

Elves — Long-lived, elegant, attuned to nature/archery/illusion magic; often noble or reclusive.

Dwarves — Stout, masterful smiths and earth mages from mountain clans.

Beastkin — Demi-humans with animal traits (e.g., wolf for speed/strength, fox for cunning/healing), physical prowess dominant.

Spirits/Elementals — Rare half-breeds or summoners with pure elemental ties.

Demons — Purely evil entities sealed in a separate dimension (the Abyss); they launch periodic outbreaks/invasions into Elyndor via rifts, slaughtering indiscriminately. The demon outbreak that killed both Aurieth's and Mira's parents (and Leon's in canon) was one such rift event.

Original MC of Eternal Chronicles:

Leon Valtor — Classic academy protagonist archetype. A kind-hearted commoner orphan from the slums, discovered with exceptional latent mana during a demon rift cleanup. Enrolls in Sylvania Academy on a scholarship, rises through pure compassion and determination. Too kind: forgives bullies, aids rivals, spares lives when possible, often to his detriment (betrayals, injuries). His arc: learning to balance mercy with strength, becoming the "Hero of Elyndor" by uniting races against a major demonic resurgence.

His Canon Harem (4 women, as specified):

Liora Voss — Human princess of Aetheria (royal bloodline, ice/fire specialist mage; starts haughty and duty-bound but warms to Leon's genuine kindness).

Celeste Harrington — Human from a powerful duke family (noble heir, wind/lightning mage; proud, strategic, initially sees Leon as beneath her but grows protective).

Elara Thorne — Elf archer/assassin (from Sylvandar nobility, cold and precise; mysterious past, loyalty earned slowly through shared trials).

Sylva Lune — Beastkin healer (fox traits: enhanced senses, support magic; gentle, empathetic, drawn to Leon's selflessness).

### Core Power Source: Mana

Mana is the fundamental energy that flows through Elyndor — invisible, ambient, present in air, water, earth, living beings, and ley lines. It is drawn from the planet's core and circulates naturally. Before age 16, no one can access or use mana — the circuits are dormant. At exactly 16 years old (or within the 16th year if delayed by extreme conditions like starvation or trauma), every person undergoes **mana awakening**.

- **Awakening Process** — Happens naturally on or around the 16th birthday. It feels like a sudden rush of warmth/energy through the body, sometimes accompanied by mild pain, a brief glow around the person, or a vivid dream/vision of their affinity element. Awakening is universal — no exceptions unless someone dies before 16.

- **Mana Circuit** — Upon awakening, a personal "mana circuit" forms inside the body. This circuit determines how much mana a person can hold (Mana Capacity) and how efficiently they can use it (Mana stat).

### Elemental Affinities

When mana awakens at 16, the person instantly manifests **one primary elemental affinity** (or in extremely rare cases, a hybrid). The affinity is fixed for life and influences all future magic.

Common Affinities (most people):

- Fire — raw destruction, heat, explosions

- Water — fluidity, healing, barriers

- Wind — speed, flight, illusions

- Earth — defense, strength enhancement, terrain control

Rare Affinities (nobles, special bloodlines, or fate):

- Light — purification, support, holy magic

- Darkness — stealth, curses, shadow manipulation

Very Rare/Advanced (almost legendary):

- Lightning, Ice, Nature (elf-dominant), Spirit (summoning)

Affinities are not chosen — they are determined by innate talent, environment, or the world's "script/fate." Most commoners get basic elements (fire, water, wind, earth). Nobles often have light or rarer ones due to heritage (though no explicit bloodline stat).

### Mana Stats & Usage

- **Mana** — How much raw mana a person can channel at once (damage/healing output).

- **Mana Capacity** — Total mana reserve (how long they can fight/cast before exhaustion).

- **Basic Mana Control** — Starting skill for everyone at awakening. Allows sensing mana, simple channeling, and basic spells (light orb, small gust, etc.). Ranked F at start, improves with practice.

Overuse causes **mana burnout** — exhaustion, internal damage, temporary loss of power, or in extreme cases, circuit damage (permanent weakening).

### Ranking System (F- to SSS+)

Ranks measure overall power level — a combination of physical stats, mana stats, skill mastery, and combat experience.

- F- → F → F+ (lowest — newly awakened 16-year-olds, slum kids, extras like Aurieth(lol))

- E- → E → E+ (apprentice level — basic adventurers)

- D- → D → D+ (intermediate — guild members, low academy students)

- C- → C → C+ (advanced — competent knights/mages)

- B- → B → B+ (expert — elite academy students, captains)

- A- → A → A+ (master — nobles, honor students)

- S- → S → S+ (legendary — top heroes, instructors)

- SS- → SS → SS+ (transcendent — ancient powerhouses)

- SSS- → SSS → SSS+ (mythic — god-like, demon lord level)

Ranks increase through:

- Combat experience

- Mana refinement/breakthroughs

- Skill mastery

- Dungeon clears, exams, tournaments

- Surviving near-death events (especially for Aurieth via Narrative Rejection)

### Aurieth's Unique Position

- Awakens mana at 16 (during/after transmigration in the alley).

- No special affinity boost — his awakening is "rejected" by the script, so he gets no extra elemental advantage or divine message.

- Starts at Rank F (bottom-tier) with low stats except Will B (mental strength/arrogance) and Charm A (exceptional handsomeness).

- [Narrative Rejection] trait makes him immune to "fated" blessings or scripted power-ups — but lets him grow stronger from "erasure" attempts (Anomaly Core mechanic).

- [Accelerated Adaptation] talent allows him to learn skills, spells, and techniques much faster than normal people.

- Evasion (F) — born from years of running from thugs, stealing food for Mira, dodging beatings — instinctive survival skill, not trained.

I made him exceptionally handsome just to satisfy my fantasies😞
