Lina rolled her eyes, but she couldn't bring herself to kick Julian in the stomach again. Suppressing her irritation, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his face several times, trying to appease him before his jealousy became even more troublesome.
"Of course there's nothing between us. Where did you hear such ridiculous rumours? I've been busy, and I only just recovered from a serious illness. Instead of worrying about my health, you're here accusing me of running around with other men. Is that how you care for me?"
Faced with her complaints, Julian finally seemed to lose some of his momentum. However, he was clearly unwilling to let the matter end without receiving something in return.
"Then, at the very least, Your Majesty must give me a kiss."
