Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Sacred Gear

"A complete system of magic? No, I don't have that~"

Jibril said with some distress, "Most of what I collect are valuable books. Although there are quite a few piles of waste, there is no complete system."

No complete system?

"In other words, you haven't encountered the Forest Spirit Race yet."

Rias thought slightly.

In the original work, Jibril's fifth defeat led her to start thinking about hypotheses for conquering the Great Dragons!

While flying and pondering hypotheses, she encountered the flight-impeding magic of the Forest Spirit Race and subsequently crashed!

Her head hit the ground, and a bump formed.

Consequently, she wiped out the capital of the Forest Spirit Race—one of the eyesores of the Flugel—and swept away all their books.

It is said that it took the Forest Spirit Race over 800 years to replenish the lost magic system.

During that process, Jibril was subjected to a saturated attack of multiple Magic Formulas by a unit led by Think Nirvalen. A defensive Magic Formula formed by a unit of three thousand people was completely annihilated by a single Heavenly Strike from Jibril.

One can imagine how powerful Jibril is.

"@Jibril, are you challenging the Dragon-kin?"

Rias asked.

"Oh my, you even know about such things?"

Jibril said in surprise.

"That's right, I am challenging the Dragon-kin. Unfortunately, I have already failed five times."

Jibril said distressfully.

"Can I use the secrets of the Dragon-kin to exchange for some things with you?"

Rias said.

"You know them!!"

Jibril: "Great! What do you want? Just say it!"

"Among the Forest Spirit Race, there is an Eightfold Caster named Think Nirvalen."

Rias: "Package her up and send her to me, and I will tell you the secret of the Dragon-kin's strength."

Although faint, elements are also intelligent 'life.'

Since elements could be sent via red packets, then the Forest Spirit Race naturally could be as well—this was Rias's judgment.

"That simple?"

Jibril was somewhat surprised.

"A fair trade."

Rias chuckled, "If you come across the capital of the Forest Spirit Race, remember to pack up their grimoires. I will exchange corresponding knowledge for them."

"Can do~"

Jibril responded.

"Mm."

Rias thought for a moment and said, "The power of the Dragon-kin is infinite, and the powerful individuals among them are even equivalent to lower-tier God Species. It is said that even for the weakest Dragon-kin, the amount of elements stored in a single scale is comparable to the maximum amount of elements a single Flugel member can use."

"That's right."

Jibril: "According to that level of power, no matter how many Flugel members there are, they shouldn't be able to shake them. However, as long as hundreds of Flugel members gather, they can perform a dragon slaying."

"If gathering a large number of Flugel members allows for dragon slaying, I should also be able to shake their power, yet I was instantly killed."

"This is an extremely irrational matter!"

"The reason is simple." Rias smiled and said, "The Dragon-kin's form of existence is different; they are essentially creatures that live on the space-time axis."

"They do not exist as 'points' in time, but in the form of 'planes,' covering the past, present, and future simultaneously. Compared to other creatures who can only wait to recover after being damaged, the Dragon-kin can instantly recover through corrections to the past and future;"
