2.Mankabelane-crew's encroachment.
Usually when all the other groups attacked us, we sow them coming out in groups, each attacking for its goal, where I can mention: Hlohlolingoane, Lira ha libonoe, Mankabelane crew, and many others.
Now this one (Mankabelane crew) was not an exception, it was attacking with an aim of making us desire to be like them, one in the groups that had the super powers. It was a crew fixed on luxury, pride and fame. So among those in that crew were the most sophisticated and famous people in the country to its outside. They were all so glamorous and good looking, and did not have any features of danger, but only us (the victims) could actually tell of how dangerous and venomous they were. So every time they invaded in, they would come with gifts of all the enticing materials, job posts, titles, a chance of earning a lot of money to wile us into falling for their deception. I think that their invasion was somehow their way of evangelism.
When we refused to join their group they would whip and wound some of us to death. Just to ensure that we get scared to report their evil deeds in public. For they assumed that we would, which was something they hated and were most afraid of. During the day, they would act like the angels, went to church and acted like the most faithful and holy servants before the Lord's sanctuary. When it was at night, they would become like the demons who were send out on a mission, to trap others to hell with them. They were all those selfish morons, who only regarded their fame and praises in the world significant over anyone and anything else.
From that hidden spot, I sow when one of the country's most trusted law enforcer, went out of his car to meet Captain, and said "Liano here! I am very pleased to meet you." He said so stretching out his hand to Captain, and captain replied "Oh! Mister Liano how may I help you." He said so acting surprised "Actually, sir I am the one who can help you." Mr. Liano said, "How so?" Captain questioned. "I don't know how it comes that you do not know me, for I assumed that everyone did, especially in this hood." Mr. Liano said. "As you can see sir, I am very advanced in age and can hardly know or ever identify anyone especially you, youths." Captain added.
"Just as I thought! Anyway do you mind joining me in the car there is something I need to show you." Mr. Liano said, and they both entered in the car and continued with their conversation. "Old man, I do not know if by any chance you have ever wished and dreamed of becoming wealthy and famous, have you?" The law enforcer questioned Captain and Captain replied, "Mmmh! Not really! But I did wish on, and reasoned upon financial stability not fame."
"Ok! And alright! So what if I am here to give you a chance to live the kind of life you wanted, would you take or decline the offer?" While this conversation continued, there was already a scene broken down at the meeting spot, where all as the street citizens, we were all out of our holes each holding a partner in the battlefield, what could only be collected in the air were savage breaking down of the bones and the bitter wailings, as war became worse formidable. We would never allow Captain to be taken advantage of like that.
However, this battle seemed to go far out of hand because our rivalries, did bring most of us down as usual. How could we over power the super-natural beings, when we were merely just human-beings? Yet still, we would not let our boss to be taken advantage of in our watch. So we made our way back to fighting from the ground. However, in the struggle to defeat our rivalries, we sow when the other navy joined us in the battlefield whilst flying as from the sky. How they teased and dealt with our enemies was incredibly breath taking and embarrassing at the same time. Until today, I still fail to understand how someone could shamefully mouth and chic slap a powerful person that way.
"Now seriously guys! All these giants we thought were, were actually nothing when confronted by their contemporaries. This is all so shameful." I said so surprised. And within no time I sow our rivalries flying their way out of our meeting spot, and soon enough the street was clear as before. Seeing all this, I rubbed my eyes quickly just to confirm that I was not dreaming. As to how the conversation of Captain and Mr. Liano went on, I could not say, but the only thing I could tell then was that I saw when Captain lifted me up from the ground where I was fallen, and leading us all out of that place.
A few minutes after, departing from that spot, we were already there by Maqalika dam, flaming the fishes for eating. "A night well spent, mmmh! Quite a night." Lehakoe complemented. "You can say that again." I added "Captain you have a lot of explanation to make." I said so looking straight into his eyes. But he replied, "Oh! Do I? or further as before we can go on and celebrate our feast, ladies and gentlemen this night is very young for questions." Captain said so while avoiding all of the commends we made. This was my captain after all, a simple and a man of few words, his boldness was deeper than all oceans in one this time.
I used to admire him before, but this time I admired him most. Yes! I could not deny the fact that I liked him before, but there was just another taste added to his charisma that I wished I could have had. Why was he that bold and courageous? He was not like that before, and I am sure he did not know yet, why I frequently loved seeing myself next to him than usual that night. It felt different and more safe to be around him… … …
