In a small neighborhood of the city lived a boy named Riad. Riad often felt lonely because his parents were always away for work. One afternoon, he was sitting on the roof, staring at the sky. Suddenly, he noticed something strange—his shadow started dancing on its own.
"What!" Riad shouted, "Why is my shadow dancing?"
The shadow laughed and said, "I'm here to stop you from feeling lonely. I want to be your friend."
At first, Riad was scared. But then he realized that the shadow only wanted to be his friend. From that day on, Riad was never alone. They played on the roof, told stories, and
sometimes even counted the stars in the sky.
One day, Riad asked, "Will you always stay with me?"
The shadow smiled and replied, "As long as you keep smiling, I will be here."
Riad understood that true friendship is never limited by body or place.
From then on, Riad and his shadow friend became the greatest source of joy in each other's lives.
