After tucking their pups into bed and preparing to fall asleep, Princess's body had not even fully touched the mattress yet.
"Why are we moving, and when are we moving, and where are we moving to…?"
Faye loaded her up with questions without taking a single breath.
Faye was already tucked under the warm covers, her head turned to face the space beside her.
Princess didn't answer at first. She slowly dimmed the room lights, used her hand to adjust the tablet on the nightstand to control the room temperature enough for her girlfriend to sleep comfortably, then double-checked her girlfriend's side of the bed, making sure the blanket was properly tucked over her shoulders. Finally, she rested her own head down on the hello kitty pillow, turning her body to face the girl who was patiently waiting for an answer.
"Can we just talk about all of this tomorrow morning?" Princess asked quietly, her eyes heavy.
