Chapter 7 - The Future

Eighteen Years Later

The hill overlooked Hyrule Field.

Grass swayed in the summer wind.

Two teenagers stood at the crest.

The girl adjusted the strap of a familiar green scabbard across her back. Blonde hair tied messily, confident stance, eyes sharp with reckless courage.

The boy beside her wore white and gold, cloak fastened with a royal crest. He studied an ancient Sheikah slate, thoughtful and precise.

In the distance, monsters gathered.

The girl grinned.

"Finally! I was worried peace would last forever."

The boy sighed.

"You sound exactly like Mother."

She nudged him.

"And you overthink like Father."

He looked toward Hyrule Castle, where banners fluttered peacefully.

"Do you think they knew?" he asked.

She shrugged, drawing the blade.

The sword gleamed in the sun — not the Master Sword, but a new one.

A human one.

"Maybe," she said. "But this isn't a curse anymore."

He smiled slightly.

"No," he agreed. "This is just our story."

They stepped forward together as the wind rose across the field.

And far behind them, on a castle balcony, Zelda leaned against Link's shoulder as they watched their children run toward adventure — not destiny.

For the first time in all of history…

The legend was no longer a loop.

It was a future.
