Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Trapped Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo

"What? It never goes out?" Everyone looked at Ming. Shoko's face turned pale at his words. As a support-type sorcerer with little combat experience, she was quite averse to pain.

"Yeah. If used outside, it basically burns forever. And if you touch it, it'll spread to you," Ming said flatly.

"Ming, you're banned from using that move from now on," Masamichi Yaga commanded. The others nodded in fervent agreement.

"Er, well, the ability in my right eye can actually extinguish it," Ming said, pointing to his eye, which featured a six-pointed star pattern.

"Oh, then it's fine," Yaga replied.

"What's your right eye's ability?" Satoru Gojo asked.

"Kagutsuchi. It allows me to control the form and shape of Amaterasu. You know, even though Amaterasu is powerful, it's a bit slow on its own. Adding the right eye's power solves that problem perfectly," Ming explained.

"Ming, your naming sense is pretty average. Kagutsuchi?" Gojo teased (as there are no traditional gods in the Japanese Jujutsu world).

"Tch, the names just popped into my head. It's not like I chose them," Ming grumbled.

"Alright, anything else?" the group asked.

"There's one more, but I don't really want to show it. I'm a bit tired. I'll tell you about it later," Ming said.

"Get on with it, brat," Yaga barked.

"Fine, fine," Ming said helplessly.

"Susanoo!"

A terrifying ocular power erupted from Ming's eyes, and his massive Cursed Energy began to boil. A giant, translucent blue skeletal torso rose from the ground, followed by the growth of meridians and muscle fibers until it took a humanoid shape.

As his ocular power flared further, a set of armor materialized over the giant. The armor then stabilized, but Ming's energy consumption accelerated. Finally, the giant, which originally only had an upper body, sprouted legs. Ming remained stationed within the giant's solar plexus.

"When the ocular power of both eyes is combined, it awakens the third power within the Mangekyo: the divine power, Susanoo. It is the guardian deity that protects the user, and the god of destruction that... because..." Ming deactivated the Susanoo and continued, "Because this power puts a great strain on the body. With my current level of ocular power, I can only reach this form; I can't manifest its true final form yet."

While his Sage Body prevented him from going blind, using such high-level techniques still carried a cost. He felt a phantom pain throughout his body while using Susanoo, though it faded quickly. Besides, he didn't feel there were many opponents currently worthy of this move.

"How should I put this... it's kind of ordinary, don't you think, Satoru?" Suguru Geto said, rubbing his chin.

"I was thinking the same thing. It looks cool and the size is impressive, but calling it a 'divine power' seems a bit like false advertising. It's a bit shameless to call it the power of a god," Gojo added, mimicking Geto's posture.

"If we're just talking about size, one of my Cursed Spirits is even bigger than that," Geto noted.

"Exactly. This 'Susano-whatever' is pretty average. Good for clearing out fodder, I guess. And it's nice that you don't have to walk, but it's not much different from your spirits, Suguru," Gojo concluded.

The two of them went back and forth, downplaying the ability.

"Hey, you two! Are you looking for a beatdown?" Ming roared at the duo who were belittling his power.

"Just stating facts," they said in unison.

"Is that so? I guess I agree with you then," Ming suddenly calmed down, matching their tone. This sudden shift caught them off guard.

"Wait, did Satoru give him some weird meds?" Geto whispered. Though they had only known him for a day, this didn't fit Ming's personality. Gojo nodded in agreement.

"You guys are so rude," Ming rolled his eyes, then turned to Yaga and Shoko.

"Kamui!"

In an instant, Yaga and Shoko vanished from the Kamui Dimension.

"Now then, my two dear friends... I'm leaving first. Enjoy your stay in here. Maybe I'll come visit you if I remember," Ming said, a twisted, villainous grin spreading across his face.

"Crap!"

"Crap!"

The two shared a look, instantly realizing his intent.

"Satoru, grab him!" Geto summoned a Cursed Spirit as Gojo blurred, appearing instantly next to Ming.

"Too late, Satoru, Suguru. See ya!" Ming vanished from the dimension.

"Damn it! He got us again!" Gojo roared.

"That guy is going to be the death of me," Geto muttered, a dark line across his face.

Outside, Shoko and Yaga looked at Ming, who had just reappeared. "Where are the other two?"

"Oh, Satoru wanted to go buy some sweets for dessert, so I warped him to the shopping district. Suguru said he needed to pick up some daily necessities," Ming said smoothly.

"Fair enough," Yaga nodded without suspicion. It was perfectly normal for Gojo to go on a sugar run.

"Alright. You and Shoko head back first. I have some business to attend to," Yaga said.

"Sure, Sensei. But where are you going? I can send you with Kamui. Just give me the coordinates; we'll be there in a flash," Ming offered.

"No need, Ming," Yaga declined. He didn't want the higher-ups to know the full extent of Ming's abilities yet; they wouldn't allow another "Satoru Gojo" to exist unchecked.

"Fine then." Ming took Shoko's hand and they vanished.

"He has a personality as troublesome as Satoru's, but he's a good student," Yaga mused.

Back in the Kamui Dimension:

"Satoru, you really don't have a way out?" Geto asked.

"It's no use. My Limitless can teleport and manipulate space at a molecular level, but this space is abnormally stable and massive. It's a complete world, just like ours," Gojo explained.

"Sigh... what do we do now?" Geto lamented.

"Suguru, don't you have any Cursed Spirits with spatial abilities?" Gojo asked.

"Even if I did, if you can't break out, do you really think a spirit I've tamed could open a hole in this place?" Geto looked at Gojo like he was an idiot.

"Hey, technically my Limitless isn't purely a spatial technique," Gojo defended.

"Whatever, forget it. Let's just wait for that bastard Ming to let us out," Geto said, lying down on one of the stone pillars.

"That guy..." Gojo grumbled.
