Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Mission Complete

"Kaien, is it really you? You're back?"

A sweet and melodious voice suddenly sounded from behind him.

Kaien turned around and saw a beautiful woman with long red hair reaching her waist standing before him.

Although she was dressed simply in casual clothes, it still couldn't conceal her captivating figure.

Her slender waist looked like it could be wrapped in one hand, her chest stood proudly, and her legs were long and smooth.

She radiated a mature, charming allure—every smile and gesture enchanting.

"Mother!" Kaien called out.

This beautiful woman was Uzumaki Kushina, who had adopted him.

"Kaien, it really is you!" Kushina excitedly pounced on him, hugging him tightly as she sobbed.

"It's been so many years, you've finally come back! Do you know how much Mother missed you?"

Being held by Kushina, Kaien instantly felt her soft, warm body. The faint, elegant fragrance surrounding her stirred unusual emotions deep in his heart.

"Mother, Kaien missed you too." He wrapped his arms around her slender waist, feeling her full, firm steamed bun rub against his chest.

The sensation made his breathing quicken.

[Obtaine Kushina's kiss, rewards 100 passion points.]

Kaien had always harbored designs on Kushina. In the past, due to his lack of strength and status, he could only bury those desires deep in his heart.

But now, it was different.

With the system's mission and its support, the desires he had suppressed for so long finally surfaced.

"Kaien, where have you been all these years? Why did it take you so long to come back? Do you know how worried I was about you?"

Kushina asked with concern, completely unaware of his intentions.

"I'm sorry, Mother." Kaien scratched his head apologetically.

"Hmph! If it weren't for your older brother Naruto getting married this time, would you not have come back at all?" She snorted delicately, glaring at him.

"How could that be? I was already planning to come back—it just happened to coincide with Brother Naruto's wedding." Kaien rubbed his nose awkwardly.

In truth, even with Naruto getting married, he hadn't wanted to return. If it weren't for the sudden appearance of the system and its mission, he probably never would have.

How exactly was he supposed to obtain Kushina's kiss?

"Oh, you!" Kushina shook her head and sighed, then looked him up and down.

She pinched his arm and said, "You've grown taller, your body's stronger, and you've become even more handsome."

"Mother, you're still just like before—still so beautiful. No, you're even more beautiful than before!" Kaien chuckled.

"Hehe, you smooth talker!" She lightly poked his forehead with her finger.

"I'm telling the truth," Kaien said with a grin.

Sakura stood nearby, watching the two of them. Seeing that she couldn't interject, she said her goodbyes and left.

Of course, Kaien didn't forget to ask Sakura for her phone number. He'd need it later—especially if he wanted to pry her away from Sasuke.

"Kaien, what do you want to eat tonight? I'll go buy groceries and cook for you." Seeing Sakura leave, Kushina naturally linked her arm with his and asked gently.

Kaien felt the softness pressing against his arm, his heart fluttering. Combined with her faint fragrance, his thoughts began to drift.

He had fantasized about Kushina before, and now, being teased like this, he felt like he was about to lose control.

"Cough, cough!" He forced himself to calm down. "Anything's fine. I'm not picky."

"Then let's see what vegetables are left on the way back," Kushina said with a smile.

"Mother, weren't you going to help set up the venue?" Kaien asked.

"There's still a few days before the wedding. I had nothing to do, so I came to take a look. Now that you're back, I'll stay with you," she replied gently.

"You disappeared for three years without a single word."

"It was my fault. I won't do it again," Kaien coaxed. "You're not mad, right?"

"Oh, you…"

Along the way, Kushina asked about his life over the past three years and the things he had seen.

While answering, Kaien's mind raced, constantly thinking about how to complete the system's mission.

Force a kiss? Impossible. Kushina would explode.

She was known as the Red-Hot Habanero—few dared face her anger.

An accident? Like in novels—tripping and falling into a kiss?

"What are you thinking about?" By the time Kushina spoke, they were already home.

Seeing him still standing at the entrance without changing his shoes, she looked puzzled.

"Ah… um… Mother, can you kiss me?" Kaien blurted it out without thinking.

Kushina froze—then smiled.

"Okay."

"Ah?!" Kaien froze as well. He hadn't expected it to be that easy.

"Smack!"

Kushina kissed his cheek sweetly, then stepped back with a smile.

Kaien rubbed his numb cheek, staring blankly at her.

[Ding! Obtaining Kushina's kiss complete. Reward: 100 passion points.]

That's it? Just like that?

He'd thought it required a kiss on the lips—but a cheek kiss was enough.

"Haha~~~" Kushina burst out laughing at his stunned expression.

"Alright, come in and rest. I'll make dinner," she said, pushing him inside.

Kaien collapsed onto the sofa.

[Ding! Make-Out Paradise Mission: Touch Sakura's steamed bun.

Remaining time: 24 hours.

Reward: 300 passion points upon completion.]

As he watched Kushina's graceful figure disappear into the kitchen, the system's voice echoed again.

Touch Sakura's steamed bun?

Kaien was instantly dumbfounded.

How the hell was he supposed to complete this mission?!
