Chapter 1 - Metal genesis

"I'm so happy I'm here with you guys. If only we didn't touch that thing down in that cave we would have never been here. It's my fault for getting curious." Archie quietly whispered. Archie then remembers that day the three boys went down in a cave. He remembers them going into that cavern the deeper they explored this cave the more curious the boys became and before you know it they found an interesting relic leading them to grabbing a tool, a triangle like pendant with artwork on it that resembled wings. It was slightly bigger than their palm. The three boys then tried to take it out of the cave but when they left the cave they found themselves in an apocalyptic world with different technology and without the triangle-like tool in their hand. One more dangerous and cruel then there's one who could even challenge humanity's malice. Archie snaps back to reality after zoning out. "Aikisu still hasn't changed your mind yet?" Archie says. "What?! You mean about finding that triangle pendant and leaving this place? If that then no i have not changed my mind and you never will." Aikisu replies. "Come on, I've already proven this world is a parallel to ours. If my theory is correct that triangle pendant has gotta be out there somewhere with the cave then. We can travel back to our world!" Archie says. "I know but how do you know it wants to cause an earthquake on this world the same way it did to ours right before we left. It's not right that people live here on this planet too." Aikisu responds heavily with a deep tone. "Plus how do we know there aren't people from our world stuck here too? We can't just leave them." Aikisu says. Archie gives Aikisu a tense stare. "Whatever who cares, we should just leave this world; it has nothing to do with us. "You guys always argue about this theory everyday, the least we can do is get along. This could be our last day. I mean the big spider monsters could be lurking every second. Aikisu, I appreciate you for the fish. Thank you so much." Archie with an attitude look on his face falls over to his right side. "I'm going to sleep." Aikisu also dropped on the left side going to sleep. "Guess that makes me look out tonight sigh. Those two always argue but even so. They always have the strongest bond. It's so weird. "It's almost like their real brothers." Tyler mutters out loud. "What was that?" Archie says. "Oh nothing!." The three boys wake up and all go scavenging materials. Tyler goes in for a group hug wrapping his arm around both Aikisu and Archie's neck. "Alright! Finally! It's morning." Archie smirks at Tyler. "I know right, it shows us to be grateful for the day even if it is sometimes too hot. Same with the night." Archie replies. "Which is the more reason we should leave this place." Aikisu frowns. "There has to be some other way. The earthquake looked catastrophic before we got transported to this world. If we do that to this one who knows the things humans will go through. This world has already gone through enough. We need to find more humans and ask more questions." Aikisu says. "Can we drop the whole argument until we actually even figure out if that cave exists." Tyler says. Archie grins as they walk. "My theory has to be correct. I mean this world is a literal parallel to ours."

Archie mutters with his eyes widening. They all hear large footsteps. "Quick get down, hide in this mud." They all hide within the mud and submerge themselves within this mud hiding from this huge Monster. "Those ones aren't like the ones from before the symbol on its heart is a question mark?!" Tyler, Archie and Aikisu shake intensely. Aikisu puts his hands over both of the boys' mouths as they hide. The huge creature spits out what appears to be a human skull. The giant monster then turns around and moves backwards as if it's afraid of something? Aikisu's lips touch the back of this monster but all Aikisu can do is just wait and be quiet. "How does it not feel you?" Tyler mutters. "Shut up Tyler." Archie whispers. In an instant the monster is cut into pieces blowing wind amongst the trees shaking the ground beneath them. Archie and the boys quickly put their heads down. Aikisu pokes one eye out to see what happens. The boys all smile. "The monster it's dead?" Aikisu says. Finally another human so there is hope. Aikisu thought to himself. The man that stands before them has a yellow cloak that blows in the wind with a large curved grey blade. The metal shown on the blade glows every few seconds. "Do you have superpowers? How did you do that?" Aikisu jumps up and down. "That was incredible." Archie says. The yellow cloaked man tilts his head and raises a brow. "That was a Kibagu obviously also why aren't you kids in the Meteria Base? The outside world is dangerous. You kids are gonna be okay just follow me alright you get free food and water. For now." Aikisu then opens his mouth to ask a question. But Archie covers his mouth and nods his head. "We can't go telling everyone we aren't from this world. We need to observe and learn about them first. Aikisu not everyone can be trusted." Archie says. Archie then remembers back to when they met their first human in this world; he remembers that night they went to sleep in her house. Hoping the lady felt bad for them and giving them free shelter. But that was never the case. Instead she was a thief they found out that the house wasn't even hers and the cabin was old and falling apart. Archie woke up with his supplies from his backpack missing. "Archie you're zoning out again, look up ahead!" The boy's eyes widened from shock. Up ahead was a huge gray shiny castle. "Welcome boys! To Meteria Castle." The boys follow the yellow caped man. To the entrance of the castle. "This is the only place with good technology to be honest or at least decent food and supplies. We've gathered a system to produce food and work. Hey you know.. I've never really met kids in the outside world while I was on an expedition. Usually they all grow up in a Meteria Base and caretaker or their parents take care of them. Most kids don't survive or aren't even allowed in the outside world anyways." The yellow caped man turns around and stops his walk and raises a brow. "Who are you kids anyways." Aikisu and Tyler gasp. "Uhh we're." Archie steps in. "Our parents died when we were young. We've been friends ever since we were little kids. We're teenagers." Archie says, faking his smile. "I hope none of you have been infected by a Kibagu. In other words you're slowly turning into one. Also you're not allowed to kiss or eat a Kibagu without permission from the leader of the Meteria Castle. It'll result in cell confinement until further studies" The yellow caped man says as he unlocks the door with a key he pulls from his pocket. "Here you guys stay in this room for now." The caped man brings them into a rusty old room with dirty branches everywhere. "He seemed nice. Maybe we should tell him we're from another world. He might help us." Tyler says. Archie grunts. "No. No, absolutely not. The last thing we need is trusting someone. Our best bet is finding that other cave grabbing the pendant and leaving. I mean seriously, who kisses monsters anyways?" Aikisu, Tyler and Archie start all laughing. "Man my stomach hurts stop it!" Man seriously what kinda world did we end up in. "Shh, I think someone's coming in." Tyler says. The door from the side cracks open revealing another room. "Oh hello you young men. I will be showing you around the Meteria Castle and teaching you a few things. Mr.Vladimir told me he found you three boys in the outside world. Now that's a very dangerous place to be." The woman says. "Uhm, excuse me mam. Those monsters uh Kibagu's the guy with the yellow kinda cape Mr. Vladimir. Earlier he said you aren't allowed to kiss or eat Kibagu. Why would you kiss something that tries to kill you." The caretaker's eyes widened as she made a surprised face. "Well everyone knows that kissing a number four and five Kibagu grants extraordinary abilities. And eating the other first three gives supernatural powers. Only Ki units, the soldiers of this place are allowed to eat those." The woman says. So the numbers really do mean something on the back of those monsters huh. Aikisu thinks to himself. "Anyways boys enough talk this is where you will be today there's only enough water for a while so use it wisely and there's bread right here. If you need anything, pull down this bell. You have class tomorrow so be prepared. We have a bath but there's no warm water for this lower floor alright." Archie raises his hand. "Um ma'am you said classes? For what?" The woman raises her brow and tilts her head as if she is confused. She scratches her chin. "When to become a Ki unit of course. All men must grow up to be a Ki unit when they hit the age eighteen. If you're lucky, maybe even earlier by choice. Ki units are here to protect us from this nightmare. I'm so grateful they exist. Now boys get some rest you're gonna need it when class is ready you'll know." The three boys immediately split the bread. "Wait lemme do it! Alright here." Aikisu hands each of them a piece as well as himself. "Aikisu if we become you know… Ki units do you think have a better survival chance?" Tyler asks. "I doubt they have a small room for us so obviously they barely care about us. I noticed her say there's no warm water for the lower floor. I'm sure they have better supplies for others. I say we try to make a run from this place." Archie says. Aikisu stomps. "And die out there with no protection no? You saw how strong that yellow caped man was. Mr. Vladimir." Archie smiles deliberately. "You know what, maybe you're right, we should stay and be forced to go to that class. I'll be given free food and supplies I'm sure. Plus it's not like we have to be honest about our age. They have no insight on who we are since we didn't grow up in their slave system or whatever." Archie says. "Jeez you are so quick to make assumptions." Aikisu says. Tyler sighs as he crosses his arm. "There you two go arguing again. Also let's keep it at a minimum. We don't want any of them to hear us. Do cameras exist?" Tyler says. "Come on Tyler you really think they'd have cameras? Here's the plan: we stall for as long as we can about our age, take the classes, use the free supplies and as soon as they try to make us a Ki unit or soldier or whatever the heck that thing is we make a dip for it. Our main goal isn't to save this world anyways, we gotta get home." Archie says. "I agree, let's do it." Aikisu replies. The three boys put their hands together as they agreed on it, raising their hands all at the same time while whispering a cheer. "But Archie, we get home. The right way." Aikisu abruptly said with a firm face staring into archie eyes.
