One evening, Sami was sitting at his desk, staring at his math homework like it had personally offended him.
"Why do numbers even exist?" he sighed.
He finally finished everything and carefully put the notebook inside his school bag.
He even double-checked.
Yes. Homework secured. Mission complete.
The next morning at school, the teacher said,
"Everyone, submit your homework."
Sami confidently opened his bag.
And froze.
No notebook.
He checked again.
And again.
And again — as if the notebook might magically appear out of fear.
Nothing.
His best friend whispered, "Bro… where is it?"
Sami slowly said, "I think… it escaped."
The teacher walked closer. "Sami, your homework?"
Sami stood up bravely.
"Miss, I did it. I promise! But I think my homework ran away."
The whole class laughed.
After school, Sami went home, ready to search everywhere.
He opened his bag again…
And there it was.
Inside the other zipper.
Sami looked at the notebook and said,
"You betrayed me."
