Land of Al Hind is the known as Golden Sparrow due to its rich resources and fierce peoples and great philosopher who did many high achievement in field of science and mathematics. Many great commanders like Muhammad ibn Qasim won and bring victory to Islam in this land, but this story is not about any one of these but about the great descendents of the warriors who defeated our commanders a conflict that broke down the Strongest empires of this land.
It all started with Gopal the first, the founder of Pal Empire establishing Gauda as capital. His son Dharmpal expanded Empire west wards and his grandson Devapal was the strongest Emporer expanding empire from Gauda to Jalandhar. He defeated Ayudh dynasty ruling Kannauj and made them his vassel. Kannauj was strategically important city it is said the one controlling Kannauj controls antravedi region the most fertile land of Al Hind.
Then comes Dantidurga the one who destroyed chalukya Empire and founded Rashtrakut Empire and established Manyakheta as capital and controlled whole Deccan region. His son Krishna the first crossed Vindhyachal mountain and conquered malwa region. His son Dhruv Dharavarsh as strongest Emporer deposed ayudh dynasty, defeated Devapal's son Mahendrapal and took Kannauj, but he had no interest in further north expansion after him his son Govind the second ascended the throne.
Then came Nagabhatt the first, a lowely vassal king of malwa in Rashtrakut Empire and came from Gurjardesh the western region of Al Hind. He had a separate power and prestige then his overlords, he with the help of strongest king in Gurjardesh Rawal khuman the second also known as Bappa Rawal repealed the invasion of Al hakam ibn awana the governor of Sind. His Grand nephew and 4th king Vatsaraj made himself independent and made himself Emporer and thus it was rise of gurjar-prathihar Empire and Ujjain as capital. His son Nagabhatt the second conquered the whole Gurjardesh and made strong kings his vassal. His son rambhadra 5th Emporer expanded eastwards conquering whole northern pal Empire.
This event marked the start of the bloody Tripartite Struggle a war between all three big empires for the control of Kannauj, a struggle between Govind the second of Rashtrakut, Shurpal of pal and Rambhadra of pratihar. A war that took their whole Generation to end. At the end Rambhadr came victorious and conquered Kannauj but it took their whole Generation after 6 months of winning the war he died naturally.
Bhoj the first, also known as Mihir Bhoj ascended the throne by succeeding Rambhadr. After his accession he by defeating newly crowned Gopal the second of pal conquered till the city of Gauda and pal were reduced to the city of katak and surrounding areas. Seeing pal totally destroyed his showed mercy and left them alone. Newly crowned Amoghvarsh the second tried to cross Vindhyachal mountain but was halted by Mihir Bhoj's guerrilla tactics and eventually Rashtrakut treasury was empty and no more war with Rashtrakut happened.
Mihir bhoj was also known for repelling the invasion of Imran ibn Musa, governor of Sind and took half of sind under his empire.
Rest 39 years were peaceful and Mihir bhoj proved to be the greatest Emporer of century.
