Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: On the Road

"Hmm…"

After a long quarter of an hour, Bai Ru, who had been stiffly lying on the side, suddenly shivered all over, gripping her sleeping bag tightly against her chest. She finally heard the man let out a muffled groan that was incredibly clear, a sound that seemed to elevate him to the peak of the world, a pleasure that nothing else could compare to. Even the other girls listening let out a long sigh of relief, and without realizing it, not only were their panties soaked, but they were also drenched in fragrant sweat!

Bai Ru, with a flushed face, buried her head in her chest. She knew the man must have finished, but as someone inexperienced, she had never had such an exciting experience. She clearly felt the man's body shaking violently at the last moment.

At that moment, she surprisingly felt a very strange sensation, as if the man's tremors were happening within her own body. Every time he shook, she felt herself shaking too, a warm current surged from between her legs, making her face turn even redder, and she could only anxiously rub her legs, her whole body feeling as hot as a cooked lobster!

"Not bad, no wonder she's their leader, she learns quickly, she knows to keep things clean without needing to be taught! Hey hey… don't find it disgusting, you have two choices: either swallow it in front of Master Lin, or go outside to throw up. If you throw up here, it means you look down on Master Lin!"

Cao Mei's teasing voice was filled with a sense of confinement. After hesitating for several seconds, everyone clearly heard Thomas Hong making slurping sounds, which were surprisingly similar to the sound of drinking yogurt.

"I... I need to step out for a moment!"

After finishing his slurping, Thomas Hong suddenly turned on the light, and the situation in the room became clear to everyone. They saw Jack half-leaning against the wall, wearing only a pair of loose shorts, with a very satisfied yet awkward expression as he looked at Thomas Hong. To his right, Cao Mei, dressed in a black sheer nightgown, had one arm propped on the ground and her other hand resting on Jack's abdomen.

As for Thomas Hong, his appearance was somewhat disheveled. His waist-length black hair was in complete disarray, as if he had just been thoroughly ravaged. He wore a floral spaghetti strap nightgown, the hem of which had risen to his waist, with the straps loosely hanging off his shoulders. A drop of milky fluid clung to his chin, and like Cao Mei, his mouth glistened alluringly under the light.

"Keep pretending! Keep pretending! Do you really think I'm blind?"

Thomas Hong looked extremely frustrated at the women who were all tightly closing their eyes and pretending to be asleep. Although it had been dark in the hall earlier, Thomas Hong clearly saw them peeking in. Now, seeing all the women holding their breath and not moving, he could only shake his head helplessly. Despite feeling weak and sore all over, he still leaned against the wall and dashed out, as his little underwear was the wettest one here!

"Hey? Lily, why are you still washing clothes at this hour?"

As Thomas Hong pushed open the glass door to the hall, he bumped into Ryan Li, who was just about to enter. He noticed a lingering blush on Ryan Li's face, which looked particularly clear and charming even in the dim light. However, upon seeing Thomas Hong, she hurriedly lowered her head, nervously rubbing the hem of her clothes and stammering, "Boss Hu... he insisted on dragging me to chat with him, so... I just talked with him for a bit!"

"What's there to talk about with a man who's as timid as a mouse? Lily, I'm telling you, that man has some ulterior motives, so be careful!" Thomas Hong frowned, looking very displeased at Ryan Li.

"Uh... got it, Sister Hong!" Ryan Li replied softly, keeping her head down and looking at her toes.

"Go to sleep, I... I need to take a quick break!" Thomas wiped the mucus from the corner of his mouth and hurriedly ran off.

...

In the early morning, after a whole day of getting used to each other yesterday, the women all clearly knew what they should do. Under Thomas's arrangement, they were all proceeding in an orderly manner. Jack yawned, coming out with two big dark circles under his eyes, and just happened to see Bai Ru sitting on the gas tank, lost in thought. Jack walked over, greeted her, and tossed a roll of vacuum-packed bread up to her.

"Master Lin..."

Bai Ru caught the bread, climbed down from the gas tank with her gun on her back, and looked at Jack, asking, "We're heading south all the time, and there will be more big cities there. Is there really a chance for a survivor gathering place?"

"The possibility of a gathering place in big cities is not high. After all, there are more zombies than living people there. Even if there are survivors, they are definitely surrounded, and the numbers won't be many. However, in some rural suburbs, I estimate there should still be gathering places. I've encountered quite a few before!" Jack lit a cigarette and said lightly.

"But I'm thinking, if you put us in a gathering place, how are we supposed to survive? A-Xue and the others described to us yesterday what the gathering place controlled by Boss Hu is like. For women like us to go in, it would be nothing..." Bai Ru paused here, looking at Jack with a complex expression, and with some hope said, "Lin Ye... if we really have to find men to rely on, we sisters all hope it's you!"

"Following me, your danger level will only increase. There are some things I carry that you cannot understand. I can't even find peace for myself, let alone protect you!"

Jack shook his head lightly, feeling quite helpless. After taking a few hard puffs of his cigarette, he threw the butt on the ground and stomped it out. Sighing, he looked at Bai Ru and said, "I know it's not easy for women to live in a gathering place. How about this: when we encounter the next gathering place, if you are not satisfied, I will take responsibility for finding some good survivors who can get along with you, to help you establish your own gathering place. This is the best I can do!"

"Can't you just take us with you?" Bai Ru looked at Jack with a hint of resentment. This was the first time she had shown such an expression in the past two days, filled with deep helplessness.

"Let's wait until I finish my trip to the southern state. Maybe I will live with you, but for now, I can't give you a clear answer!" Jack frowned slightly, feeling a bit irritated as he walked away.

...

The car was back on the road again. The closer they got to the Yangtze River, the more obstacles seemed to appear on the road. As far as the eye could see, it was desolate, with countless wandering zombies, numerous damaged cars, and countless collapsed houses. These obstacles made Jack's car crawl like a turtle, and the women went from initial excitement to numbness, feeling utterly indifferent to everything around them!

"Ha! That little slut is still wearing a short skirt, even as a zombie, her underwear is exposed. Hey? What the hell is this made of? How come it hasn't rotted yet?" Boss Hu, holding a gun, sat in the passenger seat, excitedly pointing at a female zombie wearing a black short skirt by the roadside.

"Then let Lin stop the car, and you go ask them. Who knows, they might rush into your arms!" Cao Mei leaned back in the car, holding a nail knife in her hand, focused on doing her nails. After hearing Hu Laoda's words, she let out a mocking cold laugh.

"Damn!" Hu Laoda replied without turning his head, curling his lip in annoyance as he continued to admire the desolate scenery along the way.

After driving for about an hour, Jack helplessly stopped at a pile-up accident scene. He pulled the handbrake, turned to the people in the back, and said, "Bai Ru, Cao Mei is on lookout duty. Thomas Hong, come over and drive. Hu Laoda, same old rules!"

"Sigh~ In America, we have plenty of cars and people, but I don't know why we buy so many cars. I'm almost becoming a professional tow truck driver!" Hu Laoda shook his head in frustration, slinging the shotgun on his back and weakly opening the car door.

However, as soon as he jumped out of the car, he suddenly saw a small, skinny female zombie screaming and lunging at him. Upon realizing it was a soft target, Hu Laoda was not at all startled. Calmly, he took the gun off his back and smashed it down on the zombie's head. The zombie fell to the ground but roared, trying to get back up. Hu Laoda quickly followed up with several more heavy blows until the zombie could no longer move. Only then did he spit and curse, "Pah~ If I hadn't seen you dead, I would have definitely violated you. With this kind of quality, you dare to pretend to be a nurse? I'd rather die than have a nurse like you!"

Hu Laoda wiped the gun on the almost black, tattered white coat of the zombie, then proudly looked around for Thomas. At that moment, a white building caught his eye. He walked over to Jack, who was pulling the tow rope, and pointed at the building, saying, "Brother, don't you think we should collect some pills or something? Just in case someone gets a cold or fever later, it would be good to have some medicine. That looks like a health station over there; should we go take a look?"

Jack hung the tow rope on a completely wrecked Chery Tiggo, looked up in the direction Hu Laoda was pointing, and indeed saw a building resembling a health station about three to four hundred meters away. It wasn't very large, just a two-story structure, likely only capable of treating minor ailments like headaches or colds.
