Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Day Two – The Gaze That Cannot Be Ignored

The second morning in Lirael Vespera's body began with the sound of a magical alarm—small crystal bells hanging from the bedroom ceiling, chiming softly like a harp every day at 6:00 AM. Ji-hoon woke up lying on his back, his long purple hair spread across the pillow like a silk fan. His heavy breasts felt as if they were pressing against his own ribs, and when he tried to shift, the thin night bra he had worn to sleep felt like a harness holding two giant melons.

"Still not used to this…" he muttered softly, Lirael's gentle voice escaping his lips without him realizing it. He sat up slowly. The silk blanket slid down, revealing the curves of a chest nearly overflowing from a black lace bra. Ji-hoon immediately pulled the blanket back up, his face burning.

"I'm a man. I'm a man. I'm a man," he repeated like a mantra, but this body clearly didn't care. His nipples hardened in the cold morning air, and the sensation traveled straight to his lower abdomen—warm, wet, and distracting.

Elara wasn't awake yet. Ji-hoon took advantage of the quiet moment to bathe. Professor Vespera's private bathroom was the height of luxury: a large white marble bathtub, a rain shower with instant hot water thanks to thermal runes, and a large gold-framed mirror reflecting every inch of his body.

He stood under the shower, letting the water flow. His slender hands lathered skin—from his elegant neck, down to his shoulders, then his chest. When his fingers touched his breasts, he held his breath. The sensation was too strong. Too… real. He tried to think neutrally, but his brain couldn't help but compare: "I used to have a flat chest. Now… it's like carrying two living water balloons".

He scrubbed his firm stomach, wide hips, and then his round, bouncy buttocks. Every touch sent shivers through him. The most embarrassing part was cleaning the most sensitive area between his thighs—he nearly fell because his knees went weak. "This is the body of a mature woman… not a teenager. Everything is more… responsive".

After bathing, he stood naked in front of the mirror. Wet hair clung to his back and chest. His eyes—Lirael's purple eyes—stared back with an expression of confusion mixed with shame. "You are so beautiful," he said to his own reflection. "But I don't want to be you. I'm just… a passenger".

Today's outfit: a formal but elegant professor's set—a white silk blouse with front buttons that were a bit tight at the chest, a black vest embroidered with silver runes, a calf-length pencil skirt with a small side slit, and dark purple low heels. The matching black lace bra and underwear—it turned out all of Lirael's undergarments were high quality and… sexy. Ji-hoon grumbled internally while buttoning the blouse. "Why isn't there anything ordinary? Does everything have to highlight these curves?".

When he finished dressing, Elara walked in rubbing her eyes. "Mama, you look so beautiful today… like you're going on a date".

Ji-hoon choked on the air. "U-uh, no! This is just a normal outfit".

Elara giggled. "Everyone at the academy says Mama is the most beautiful among the professors. Even the senior brothers talk about Mama during break".

Ji-hoon felt his heart race—not from pride, but from panic. "Don't listen to student gossip, okay? Now, let's have breakfast".

Breakfast was quieter this time. Elara was busy reading a basic spell book while eating honey pancakes. Ji-hoon—as Lirael—tried to recall today's schedule from the body's memory:

Morning: Advanced Elemental Fusion theory class (Years 2 & 3)

Afternoon: Private practice for high-potential students (one of whom was… Rylan Storm)

Evening: Faculty board meeting about next month's inter-academy tournament

Night: Grading assignments + teaching Elara Level 2 healing spells

He let out a long sigh. "A long day ahead".

***

At the academy, the atmosphere was already bustling. First-year students practiced basics on the open field: small fireballs flying about, wind swirling into mini-vortexes, and some first-year beastkin sparring with claws and wooden swords. Ji-hoon walked past them, his professor's robe fluttering elegantly. The students' gazes immediately fixed on him—not just in admiration, but also… desire.

A second-year boy whispered to his friend: "Prof. Vespera is wearing a white blouse today… look, the buttons look like they're about to pop".

His friend replied quietly: "Don't talk so loud, or you'll get a silence curse for a month".

Ji-hoon pretended not to hear, but Lirael's sharp ears caught everything. He quickened his pace, his buttocks swaying slightly faster due to the heels. "I hate this body. I hate it so much".

In the lecture hall, the Advanced Elemental Fusion class was waiting—about 80 students, a mix of humans, elves, dwarves, and a few beastkin. Ji-hoon stood at the podium, elderwood staff in hand.

"Today we will practice small-scale fusion," he said in a calm but authoritative voice. "You will work in pairs. One person for fire, one for wind. The goal: create a stable spinning flame, not an explosion".

He demonstrated. His left hand produced a small fireball the size of an orange, while his right hand controlled a thin breeze. Within seconds, the fireball spun like a mini fire tornado, beautiful and controlled. The students gasped in awe.

"Watch the mana flow. Don't force it. Let them dance".

As the students began practicing in pairs, Ji-hoon walked around to check on them. He stopped near a failing pair: an elf girl named Liora (long silver hair, slender body) and a quiet human boy named Kain.

"You're too tense," Ji-hoon said gently. He reached for Liora's hand, adjusting her finger position. "Mana flows like a river, not a dam. Relax".

Liora flushed. "Y-yes, Professor…".

Ji-hoon didn't realize that his movement—leaning over slightly to fix her hand position—caused his white blouse to tighten across his chest. Several boys in the back immediately looked over. Even Kain, usually quiet, swallowed hard.

Suddenly, a familiar voice came from the door.

"Professor Vespera, sorry I'm late".

Rylan Storm entered in a slightly rumpled first-year uniform—a sign he had just finished morning sword practice. His black hair was damp with sweat, and his blue eyes locked onto Ji-hoon immediately.

Ji-hoon felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up. "Mr. Storm. Sit down. We are in the middle of practice".

Rylan gave a thin smile. "Of course, Professor".

He sat in the front row—right in the center, his eyes never leaving Ji-hoon throughout the class. When Ji-hoon explained things on the board, Rylan didn't take notes. He just… watched. The way Lirael moved her hands, the way her purple hair swayed, the way her hips moved slowly as she walked.

Ji-hoon felt like prey.

The private practice session that afternoon was held in a special small training room—a circular room with blast-absorbing rune walls, black stone floors, and only one door. It was for high-potential students only.

Today, there were only two: Rylan Storm… and a second-year beastkin girl named Kara—wolf ears, a long gray tail, and an athletic body with defined but feminine muscles.

Ji-hoon sat in the high observer's chair. "Both of you have rare affinities. Rylan: S-rank multi-element. Kara: beast transformation + earth enhancement. Today we focus on synergy. Rylan, you attack. Kara, you defend and counter".

The fight began.

Rylan drew a practice sword—not a normal one, but a blade surrounded by small bolts of lightning. He moved fast, almost like a shadow. Kara partially transformed: claws lengthening, eyes glowing yellow, her skin hardening like obsidian stone.

The clash of sword and claw sparked. The room echoed.

Ji-hoon watched with sharp eyes. "Rylan, don't use raw strength. Use precision. Kara, your timing is good, but you're too defensive. Strike back".

Rylan suddenly stopped. His breathing was steady, but his eyes were back on Ji-hoon.

"Professor… may I request a direct demonstration? I want to feel how you control multiple elements at once".

Ji-hoon raised an eyebrow. "That is not part of this session".

"But Professor is the best example," Kara added suddenly, grinning and revealing small fangs. "I want to see it too".

Ji-hoon sighed. "Fine. Only a brief demonstration".

He climbed down from the chair, setting his professor's robe aside. The white blouse and pencil skirt clung perfectly to his body. Elderwood staff in his right hand, left hand empty.

"Pay attention".

He raised his hands. Fire, wind, water, and lightning appeared simultaneously—each the size of a small ball, orbiting his body like planets around a sun. Then he fused them: fire + wind into a fire tornado, water + lightning into a liquid electric storm. Everything moved perfectly, beautifully, and lethally.

Rylan and Kara were silent. Rylan's eyes were no longer just filled with admiration—there was something deeper, darker.

"Thank you, Professor," Rylan said quietly. "Now I understand… why you are so respected".

Ji-hoon felt that gaze again. It was as if he were naked. He hurried to end the session. "That's enough for today. Both of you continue your individual practice".

As he turned to pick up his robe, Rylan approached quickly—closing in within just a few steps.

"Professor," his voice was low, almost a whisper. "I have a personal question. May I see you after hours? In the faculty room, perhaps?".

Ji-hoon turned. They were too close. The scent of a young man's sweat mixed with a faint hint of lightning reached him. Lirael's body reacted—a throb in the chest, heat in the lower abdomen.

"…submit a formal request," Ji-hoon answered coldly. "I am not your private servant, Mr. Storm".

Rylan smiled—a smile that made Ji-hoon shiver. "Of course, Professor. I am patient".

That night, after grading papers and teaching Elara a minor wound-healing spell, Ji-hoon sat alone on the villa's balcony. The Valorian night breeze caressed his long purple hair. The stars in the Elysium sky were brighter than those on Earth.

He held a cup of warm herbal tea. His mind was full.

"I have to be stronger. Not just in magic—mentally as well. Rylan… he's not an ordinary protagonist. He's dangerous. And this body… is too weak against temptation".

Suddenly, Lirael's memories surfaced again—fragments of the past. Her husband, Sir Alaric, a blonde knight who died protecting the village from a wyvern. Their last embrace under a rain of blood. The pain was real, piercing Ji-hoon's chest like a knife.

"I am not her…" he whispered. "But I feel her pain".

Elara appeared at the balcony door, hugging a large stuffed bunny. "Mama… not sleeping?".

Ji-hoon gave a soft smile—Lirael's natural smile. "In a moment, sweetheart. Mama is just… thinking".

Elara climbed onto his lap. Her head rested against that large chest. "Mama, don't be sad. Elara loves Mama".

Ji-hoon hugged her tightly. For the first time, the hug felt… soothing. Not just a bodily sensation, but something deeper.

"Mama loves Elara too," he answered softly.

In the distance, the academy bell tolled softly—marking 11:00 PM.

Ji-hoon stared at the sky.

"Day two is over. But this journey… has only just begun".

***

And in a corner of the academy, in a first-year dormitory room, Rylan Storm sat on the edge of his bed. His sword rested against the wall. His eyes stared blankly ahead, but his mind was filled with one image:

Professor Lirael Vespera, standing in the middle of an elemental storm—beautiful, strong, and fragile.

He smiled to himself.

"Soon… you will be mine".

***

POV: Kara (2nd Year Beastkin) I don't like arrogant humans. But Rylan Storm… is different. He's strong, cold, but there's a fire in his eyes that makes the hair on my neck stand up. But today, I realized—that fire isn't for me.

It's for Professor Vespera.

When she gave that demonstration earlier, I nearly forgot to breathe. Not just because her magic was incredible. But the way she stood, the way her body moved, the way that purple hair swayed as if it were alive. I'm a girl, but I understand why the boys are crazy for her.

And Rylan… his eyes don't lie. He doesn't see the Professor as a teacher. He sees her as a woman. As a target.

I growled softly in my dorm room. My wolf tail flicked restlessly.

"I won't lose just like that. If he wants the Professor, he has to go through me first".

But in my heart, I knew—this wasn't an ordinary fight.

This was a battle of desire.
