Chapter 26 -  “THE VISITOR FROM ANOTHER STORY”

Chanderi had slowly accepted a strange new normal.

Ayaan had become part of the town's changing atmosphere.

Shraddha was no longer carrying her past alone.

Tamanna had become a familiar presence.

And the legend of Stree...

was no longer behaving like the legend people remembered.

But stories never stayed in one place forever.

Sometimes, another story crossed into the same path.

The day started normally.

Ayaan was sitting outside with a cup of tea while Morphion continued observing the world.

"You are quiet."

Ayaan looked slightly amused.

"Are you saying I talk too much usually?"

"No."

Morphion replied.

"You are usually silent because you are processing."

A pause.

"Today you are silent because you are waiting."

Ayaan looked at him.

"You're getting better at reading people."

"I am learning from the best example."

"Me?"

"Yes."

Morphion answered confidently.

"Unfortunately."

Ayaan smiled.

Later that day, a new person arrived in Chanderi.

Not someone searching for legends.

Not someone chasing supernatural mysteries.

Someone who simply had her own reason for being there.

A doctor.

Kriti.

She carried herself differently from the people of Chanderi.

Calm.

Professional.

Observant.

But unlike Ayaan, her curiosity came from a different place.

She looked at the world like someone who wanted to understand life through knowledge.

Ayaan noticed her immediately.

Not because of appearance.

Because of presence.

Morphion spoke.

"Another unusual individual."

Ayaan sighed.

"You are going to say that about everyone, aren't you?"

"Possibly."

"Why?"

"Because your environment continues becoming more complex."

A pause.

"And I find that enjoyable."

Kriti's arrival was connected to a local event.

A celebration.

Music.

A gathering where people could forget their worries for a while.

The same type of moment where Chanderi felt alive.

Shraddha noticed Ayaan looking toward Kriti.

"She seems different."

Ayaan nodded.

"She is."

"You know her?"

A small pause.

Ayaan chose his words carefully.

"I know of her."

Shraddha looked at him.

Another reminder that Ayaan always knew more than he revealed.

The evening event began.

Music filled the air.

People gathered around.

And among the performers was Kriti.

Not as someone connected to the legends of Chanderi.

Just as someone enjoying the moment.

Ayaan watched quietly.

Morphion observed as well.

"Her biological pattern is different."

Ayaan raised an eyebrow.

"You are analyzing her already?"

"I analyze everyone."

"That sounds suspicious."

"It is efficient."

After the performance, their paths crossed.

Kriti looked at Ayaan.

"You're not from around here."

Ayaan replied:

"Neither are you."

That answer surprised her.

A small smile appeared.

"Fair."

The conversation was simple.

No dramatic connection.

No instant attachment.

Just two people meeting.

But sometimes...

the smallest meetings created the biggest future changes.

Later, as the night ended, Morphion spoke.

"This individual may become important."

Ayaan looked toward the town.

"I know."

Morphion paused.

"You knew?"

Ayaan smiled slightly.

"Some stories are easier to recognize."

But unlike before...

Ayaan did not try to force anything.

He had learned something.

Knowing the future did not mean controlling every moment.

Sometimes the best outcomes came from letting people choose their own path.

Far away from Chanderi...

other stories continued moving.

A wolf.

A forest.

A different kind of supernatural world.

And now...

a connection had been formed.
