Chapter 9 - Episode 009: Red Diamond

"Seojun, why are you bullying Phoenix again?" Emma snapped at Seojun who was speechless these Duan Family members each of them are just too much and hypocritical.

"Do you even have the money to spend here?" Taylor asked she crossed her arms as she huffed out.

"I can spend," Seojun replied.

"You..? Mom and dad froze your cards," Emma said. Seojun didn't bother with these people he bullied out Red Diamond Card when the dealership manager saw this he bowed his head.

"This is..cousin Emma they are only ten Red Diamond Card globally how does he have it? The net worth for someone to get that card they have to the spending limit each year of 300 million!" Taylor said with a gasp.

The sheer exclusivity of the Red Diamond Card was well-known – a status symbol reserved for an elite few whose annual spending exceeded an astronomical 300 million yuan. It wasn't a testament to unimaginable wealth and influence, a tangible representation of power that transcended mere financial status. The fact that Seojun, the ostracized and seemingly powerless member of the Duan family, possessed such a card defied all expectations. It challenged the established hierarchy, disrupting the carefully constructed narrative of his diminished standing.

The manager of the dealership, a man who had witnessed countless displays of affluence and extravagance, visibly paled. He bowed his head deeper, a gesture of deference bordering on awe. The Red Diamond Card wasn't just a credit card; it was a symbol of belonging to an exclusive circle, a silent declaration of membership in an elite club. To see it in the hands of someone so readily dismissed by his own family was unsettling, almost disrespectful to the unspoken rules of their world.

Emma's initial shock quickly morphed into suspicion and accusation.

Her fingers tightened around Seojun's arm, a desperate attempt to grasp some semblance of control over the situation.

"Seojun, did you steal it or make a look-alike?" she demanded, her voice laced with a mixture of disbelief and thinly veiled accusation. The question hung in the air, loaded with implications. Stealing such a prestigious card was not only illegal but also an enormous embarrassment for the Duan family, even if Seojun was currently estranged from them. A look-alike would be equally damaging, suggesting a desperate attempt to project an image of wealth he didn't possess.

Seojun's reaction was immediate and cutting. He yanked his arm away from her grasp with a dismissive flick of his wrist, the gesture conveying a profound lack of respect and a clear rejection of her authority.

"What? I can't spend money, but *you* can?" Seojun's words were laced with a biting sarcasm that echoed through the dealership. He wasn't just responding to Emma's accusation; he was dismantling the entire foundation of their familial dynamic.

For years, he'd been treated as a liability, a burden, his financial resources restricted and his autonomy curtailed, all under the guise of protecting the family's image and assets. Now, he was exposing the hypocrisy of their actions – their willingness to control him while simultaneously flaunting their own wealth and privilege.

He didn't elaborate on the source of his Red Diamond Card, nor did he offer any explanation for his sudden resurgence in financial power. The silence was more potent than any explanation could have been. It implied a wealth and influence that operated outside the purview of the Duan family.

When he was given the keys to a red motorcycle he just waved his hand with a smirk. He took off in his new motorcycle.

The roar of the red motorcycle's engine sliced through the tense silence of the dealership, a defiant declaration of freedom and independence. Seojun navigated the city streets with a practiced ease, the wind whipping through his hair and blurring the cityscape into a vibrant stream of colors. The motorcycle wasn't just a mode of transportation; it was a symbol of his newfound liberation, a tangible representation of his rejection of the constraints that had defined his existence for so long.

He wasn't heading anywhere specific, simply allowing the city to guide him, trusting his instincts to lead him to whatever awaited him. The thrill of anonymity was intoxicating – to be just another face in the crowd, unburdened by expectations and free from scrutiny.

His phone buzzed, displaying an unfamiliar number. It was a number showing his spending of the day. He slammed his motorcycle and he cursed damn it he wasn't thinking he used the Red Diamond Card, fuck forget who cares who cares it will be good if he didn't see it but if he saw it oh well he can't change anything about.
