Chapter 107 - Chapter 126: The Turquoise Horizon and the Kanata Paradox

The transition from the scorched, subterranean greenery of the Tatooine Oasis to the blinding, idyllic blues of Scarif was a localized sensory masterpiece that Revan Shan met with a pair of polarized aviators, a floral-patterned silk shirt over his Phrik-weave robes, and a chilled tropical latte that tasted like a vacation in a cup. As 73 BBY claimed its place in the galactic ledger, the Black Pearl breached the atmospheric shimmer of the tropical world, its Automatic Stealth Generator tuned to mimic the background radiation of a high-end luxury yacht.

Revan sat in his Sovereign's Command Chair, which was currently reclined at a forty-two-degree "Coastal Contemplation" angle. Biologically, he was seventy-five, but the man reflected in the cockpit's transparisteel was twenty-three—a rhythmic defiance of entropy maintained by Force Immortality. Calculus, the orange-and-brown patriarch, was sprawled across the dashboard, his fur catching the sunlight. Theorem, the sleek juvenile, was supervising the four kittens—Log, Eni, Para, and Axio—as they conducted a "kinetic audit" of the ship's anti-gravity coasters.

"You see, Chewie," Revan murmured, his voice a blend of 11th Doctor whimsy and 12th Doctor gravel. "According to my 2nd Doctorate in Planetary Ecology, Scarif is a masterpiece of 'Oceanic Redundancy.' It's 90% water, 10% sand, and 100% statistically likely to be the most relaxing place in the Outer Rim. It's remarkably tidy, and the perfect place for 'Dr. John Smith' to establish a localized foothold for his... academic retirement."

Chewbacca let out a resonant, appreciative rumble—a Wookiee's way of saying he preferred the sand here much more than the sand on Tatooine. With only one year left before his return to Kashyyyk, the Co-Captain was savoring the rhythmic humming of the freighter.

The Sovereign Strategy: The Scarif Beach House

Revan tapped his gauntlet, projecting the holographic roadmap of The Safe House Project. This was the final purchase of the five-year itinerary.

"Status check, Cortana," Revan noted. "Sixteen sites secured. Now, we add the 'Beach House' to the 'Purchased' column. At 100,000 credits, it's a localized pittance, but the privacy is priceless."

Under the established pseudonym 'Dr. John Smith', Revan finalized the purchase of a sprawling, white-stone villa on a remote archipelago. The transaction was buried under academic grants for "Marine Botanical Studies."

The 'Purchased' Safe House Specs (Scarif - The Blue Anchor):

| Component | Specification |

|---|---|

| Security | 5x HK-51 units finished in white-chrome "Service" plating. |

| Defenses | Hidden laser turrets in the palm-line and eaves; Capital-class shields. |

| Tech | Encrypted Kyber-Quantum computer; spoofing communications relay. |

| Fabrication | Force Industrial Fabricator for medical, food, and mechanical needs. |

| Armory | Westar 35s, snipers, slug-throwers, grenades, and Thermal Detonators. |

| Supplies | 10 years of food, water, medical packs, and basic body armor. |

"Simple, breezy, and perfectly untraceable," Revan grinned. "Adventure is the journey, D6, but the journey is much better when you have a balcony overlooking a turquoise abyss."

The Kanata Paradox: A Botanical Encounter

While the HK units were busy calibrating the perimeter sensors, Revan took a stroll along the tide-line. He wore his academic mask and his high-end suit, his Beskar gauntlets hidden beneath his sleeves.

He wasn't alone. A few hundred meters down the beach, a small, orange-skinned figure was meticulously cataloging a cluster of iridescent tropical ferns. Revan's Force Precognition gave a playful nudge.

"According to my 11th Doctorate in Xenobiology," Revan called out, his voice modulated into a steady baritone, "those Scarifian Sun-Fronds are currently operating at a 5% metabolic surplus due to the localized tide-pool minerals."

The figure turned. It was a young girl—well, young by her species' standards—with large, inquisitive goggles perched on her head. The resemblance was uncanny.

"I'm Vila," she chirped, her voice full of a familiar, ancient spark. "I'm here for my research project on tropical flora. You must be the doctor who bought the archipelago."

"Dr. John Smith," Revan bowed slightly. "And you... you have a very rhythmic family resemblance, Vila. Would your cousin happen to be a certain tavern-keep named Maz?"

Vila's goggles clicked. "How do you know Maz? She's... well, she's Maz. She's been 'old' since the stars were born."

Revan let out a high-pitched, 11th Doctor giggle. The idea of Maz Kanata having a "young" cousin was a statistical masterpiece of absurdity. "According to my 10th Doctorate in Galactic History, your family has a localized monopoly on longevity. Maz and I... well, let's just say we share a certain appreciation for things that stay tidy over centuries."

He spent the afternoon helping Vila with her cataloging, using his Sonic Screwdriver to "diagnose" the health of the ferns.

"Try to be nice, Vila," Revan said as the sun began to set. "Do good. But never fail to be kind to the plants. They're the only ones who don't argue with the ledger."

The Sovereign Assessment: The 5-Year Master-Ledger

Back on the Black Pearl, Revan reviewed the completed itinerary.

"Seventeen sites," Revan noted, popping a lemon candy. "Our Secret Credits remain at 3.15 Billion. We've built a galaxy-sized safety net, Chewie. If the Sith stutter or the Republic bleeds, the Maverick has seventeen places to have a cup of tea."

The Sovereign's Nap: End of 73 BBY

The year concluded with the Black Pearl ghosting through the Scarif moonlight. Revan was slumped in his chair, Calculus sleeping on his lap and the juvenile Theorem curled up on his shoulder. The four kittens—Log, Eni, Para, and Axio—were in the lounge, dreaming of tropical fish.

"Status, Cortana," Revan whispered.

"Scarif House is 100% operational," Cortana reported. "The 3.15 Billion credits are stable. And on Naboo, young Sheev Palpatine is now eleven years old. He has just been enrolled in a high-end political academy."

"Brilliant," Revan yawned, the chair reclining to the Calculated Nap Angle of 134.5 degrees. "Adventure is the journey, D6. And 73 BBY was a masterpiece of turquoise water and the Kanata paradox. Try to be nice, 72 BBY. I'm coming home to the Temple."

He closed his eyes. The Maverick was seventy-five, the project was complete, and the audit was about to move back to the heart of the Jedi Order.
