Chapter 192 - Chapter 225: The Tides of War and the Bio-Logistics of Kindness

The sapphire world of Mon Cala was a swirling chaos of boiling seas and debris-strewn orbit. As the third week of the seventh month of 20 BBY commenced, the 596th "Maverick's Roughnecks" exited hyperspace directly into a tactical nightmare. The local Republic forces, led by Master Kit Fisto and the Mon Calamari Guard, were being systematically crushed by a massive Separatist blockade of Lucrehulk-class hubs and Munificent-class frigates.

On the bridge of the Sovereign's Grace, Revan Shan stood perfectly still. He was a shadow in the gleaming command deck, clad in his custom black Beskar-filament robes and alloy armor. His hood was up, masking the 23-year-old face that carried the weight of a century's wisdom.

"Admiral Kaine," Revan said, his voice carrying that familiar, rhythmic lilt—sassy, yet grounded. "It seems our friends here are having a bit of a dampener on their day. The Separatists have brought quite the collection of 'over-compensation' to this system, haven't they?"

"General, the Republic line is at forty percent shield capacity," Admiral Kaine reported, his eyes never leaving the tactical holomap. "The Uprising and the Phoenix are ready to engage. Vice Admiral Lara and Vice Admiral Spock have already plotted the intercept vectors."

Revan reached into a hidden compartment of his gauntlet and retrieved a single lemon candy, popping it into his mouth. "Splendid. Admiral, the stage is yours. I want the 596th to be the wall that the sea cannot break. Spock, use the 2x Dreadnought shielding to screen the Republic cruisers. Lara, coordinate the Arquitens into a rotating broadside—keep their Ion cannons cycling. I'm heading to the hangar."

The Symphony of the Star-Sass

Revan didn't stay to watch the capital ships engage. He lived for the movement, the "adventure" of the dogfight. He vaulted into the cockpit of the Star-Sass, his hands dancing across the Kyber-quantum interface. Mag-clamps hissed as the X-wing detached from the Sovereign's Grace.

"Cortana, darling, how is the fleet's morale?" Revan asked as he punched the sublight engines to 2700 KPH.

"Acceptable, Master. But they are feeling the pressure of the sheer numbers," Cortana replied.

"Let's give them a reason to believe in the impossible, then."

Revan closed his eyes, his 23,000 Midichlorian count allowing him to tap into the Force with a density that few in history could match. He didn't just feel the Force; he woven himself into it.

Battle Meditation.

A golden ripple of calm and tactical clarity washed over every pilot in the 596th. In the cockpits of the 120 ARC-170s and 480 Z-95 Headhunters, clones who were already dechipped and free suddenly felt an surge of instinct. They didn't just fly; they danced. They saw the gaps in the Separatist Vulture droid swarms before they appeared.

Revan threaded the Star-Sass through the crossfire of a Munificent frigate, his Sith Kyber lenses focusing his laser cannons into searing white-hot needles. He didn't aim to destroy; he aimed to disable. He targeted shield projectors and engine manifolds, turning the Separatist ships into drifting hulks for the Y-Wing bombers to finish off.

"Try to be nice, do good, but never fail to be kind," Revan whispered as he pulled a high-G turn that would have pulverized a normal pilot. "And the kindest thing I can do for these droids is to turn them into very expensive space-junk."

The Descent of the 15,000

While the space battle roared, a task force of 15,000 Roughnecks led by Commander Check and Commander Ruff began their descent toward the aquatic cities. They weren't using standard landing craft; they were dropped via modified LAAT/I gunships under the cover of a massive precision strike from the fleet's Y-Wings.

Beside the Commanders stood HK-47, his Beskar-Phrik alloy chassis shimmering with a predatory dullness.

"Statement: Master has instructed us to clear the landing zones," HK-47 remarked, checking the cooling vent on his blaster rifle. "I have interpreted 'clear' as the total molecular disassembly of any metallic unit that dares to occupy the same coordinate as my feet."

"Follow the droid's lead, boys!" Commander Check shouted over the comms. "Stun grenades for the biologicals, EMPs for the scrap! Let's get Master Fisto some breathing room!"

The task force hit the water-lines with surgical precision. They utilized the upgraded power systems in their armor to stabilize themselves against the planetary pressure as they transitioned into the underwater corridors. With HK-47 leading the vanguard—using his Form VII Juyo sub-routines to wield a SaberStaff with terrifying efficiency—the Separatist droids were dismantled before they could even register the new threat.

Side-Mission: The Shadow of Lehon

While the battle for Mon Cala raged, a ghost was moving across the galaxy. On a neutral world in the Mid-Rim, a high-security biological research lab funded by Separatist shell companies sat nestled in a mountain range.

Inside the facility, a hooded figure wearing the dotty, academic disguise of Dr. John Smith walked through the corridors. This wasn't Revan, nor was it a human. It was a holographic Sith Training Droid, projected and controlled by Friday AI from the safety of Lehon.

"Friday," Revan's voice echoed in the droid's internal relay, "how is the 'Doctor' doing?"

"The 'Doctor' is currently being very 'helpful', Sir," Friday replied. "I am currently 'consulting' on their viral delivery systems. Which is to say, I am rewriting their biochemistry data to ensure the bio-weapon they are developing becomes a highly effective, non-toxic fertilizer for local planetary flora."

The droid—looking exactly like the eccentric John Smith—tapped a data-pad with a flamboyant flourish.

"Oh, dear me," the holographic Smith told a Separatist scientist. "Your molecular sequencing is all out of whack! You've put the C_{12} chain where the B_{6} should be. Here, let me fix that for you. We wouldn't want anyone getting a tummy ache, would we?"

With a whirr of Kyber-Quantum informatics, Friday wiped the facility's actual research and replaced it with gibberish and planetary ecology notes. She then planted a localized EMP that would trigger the moment she left the building, permanently shorting out the lab's servers.

"Mission accomplished, Sir," Friday reported. "The Separatists have just spent fifty million credits on a very expensive way to grow better tomatoes."

The Tide Turns: Month 7, 20 BBY

Back at Mon Cala, the combined pressure of the 596th's naval superiority and the "Roughnecks" ground assault broke the back of the Separatist invasion. Admiral Kaine's fleet, bolstered by Revan's Battle Meditation, had reduced the blockade to forty percent strength, forcing a general retreat of the remaining Lucrehulks.

Revan brought the Star-Sass back into the hangar of the Sovereign's Grace, his body aching from the intensity of the Force-meld. As the canopy hissed open, he saw Commander Check and Ruff boarding their transport from the surface, dragging crates of "salvaged" Separatist weapon components.

"Good work, boys," Revan said, stepping down from the X-wing. He pulled back his hood, showing a youthful grin. "Everyone in one piece?"

"Few bruises, Sir," Ruff replied, slapping his Beskar-plated chest. "But HK here might have a few 'biological complaints' about the water quality."

"Statement: The salt content was unacceptably high, Master. It was a personal insult to my joints."

Revan laughed, handing a lemon candy to each of the Commanders. "Take the win, HK. We've saved a planet, sabotaged a bio-weapon, and I believe I saw some very interesting Kyber-processing arrays on that lead frigate before it exploded. Admiral Kaine! Status of the sector?"

"Secure, General," Kaine's voice echoed over the hangar speakers. "The Senate and the GAR are sending through their commendations. They're calling it the 'Maverick's Miracle'."

"Miracles are expensive, Admiral," Revan mused, heading toward the Black Pearl. "Let's see how much this one cost the Maverick Trust."

Current Assets & Status: Month 7, 20 BBY

As the week ended, Revan sat in his Sovereign's Command Chair, reviewing the financial trio's report.

| Asset | Value/Status |

|---|---|

| Maverick Trust | 7.9 Trillion Credits (Steady) |

| Clone Retirement Trust | 250 Million Credits (Projected 400% Return) |

| 596th Legion | 31,000 Troopers (100% Dechipped/Free) |

| Important Loot | Bio-weapon sabotaged; Neutralized research logs secured. |

"One more month of 20 BBY down," Revan whispered, looking at the Darksaber sitting in the safe. "The war is getting louder, but we're getting faster. Cortana, remind me to thank Friday for the tomatoes. I think I'll have a salad for dinner."

The adventure continued, one sassy remark at a time.
