Chapter 319 - Chapter 319: Soaring Strength

Hera, meanwhile, pulled her mother Rhea away to prepare various outfits so they could better serve Karl.

Watching the two mature beauties leave, Karl felt slightly restless.

After all, only three months had passed in the outside universe, but far more time had passed within the Shadow World.

Whenever Karl entered, he altered the flow of time.

The Olympian goddesses had also become increasingly attached to him. Whenever Karl stayed there, they would enthusiastically perform their different "symphonies" for him.

This time, it lasted an entire month.

The goddesses took turns performing, and their beauty and charm were indeed difficult for Karl to resist.

At that moment, Gaea and several of her daughters lowered a thin veil to change their clothes.

The veil was practically transparent.

However, Karl had more important matters to deal with.

He didn't stay to admire the scene.

Whoosh!

Karl disappeared.

...

Inside another region of the Shadow World, Karl retrieved the Law of Light from his System Space.

It appeared to be nothing more than a sphere of golden radiance.

Yet inside it was an overwhelmingly powerful law.

The next moment—

Whoosh!

The golden sphere rushed directly into Karl's forehead.

It entered his mental world first.

Then his soul.

Finally, the Law of Light spread throughout every part of his body.

Boom!

Karl's entire body erupted with golden radiance.

His aura began rising rapidly.

The transformation continued for three full days.

Only then did Karl slowly open his eyes.

His pupils had become golden.

The instant they opened, an enormous wave of golden power spread outward.

Several nearby Shadow creatures were instantly annihilated.

Karl didn't pay attention to them.

He was focused entirely on himself.

Then his expression changed.

Super Single-Universe level!

After completely integrating a fundamental Law of Light, Karl's strength had jumped directly from the middle stage of the Single-Universe level to the early stage of the Super Single-Universe level.

After thinking about what he had absorbed, Karl quickly accepted the result.

Light was an incredibly fundamental phenomenon.

Stars.

Radiation.

Energy.

Life.

Countless civilizations depended upon it.

And this wasn't the native law governing light within the Marvel Multiverse.

It was an independent Law of Light originating from another cosmology and granted by the System.

Therefore, Karl hadn't seized authority from any Marvel cosmic entity.

That also meant no native being could simply reclaim it from him.

Karl carefully examined his new authority.

There were no predetermined techniques.

That was actually better.

As long as an ability fundamentally belonged to the concept of light, Karl could reproduce it through the Law of Light.

Light-based attacks.

Healing.

Barriers.

Purification.

Constructs.

Even abilities that existed only as conceptual applications of light could theoretically be manifested.

Karl smiled.

Then he retrieved his next two rewards.

The Holy Light Sword.

And the Holy Light Armor.

Swish!

The instant the armor appeared, it automatically attached itself to Karl's body.

Golden energy flowed across its surface.

Intricate divine patterns covered the armor, while a white cloak hung from his shoulders with faint golden radiance flowing across it.

The Holy Light Sword floated before him.

Karl reached out.

Clang!

The weapon entered his hand.

Its blade was primarily golden, complemented by silver and white details.

Dense light energy flowed along its edge.

Karl casually swung it.

Whoosh!

A brilliant golden sword wave tore across the Shadow World.

Crack!

Space itself split apart.

The sword energy traveled almost to the edge of the Shadow World before finally striking its boundary and dissipating.

Karl raised an eyebrow.

He hadn't used any of his own internal energy.

That attack had come almost entirely from casually swinging the Holy Light Sword.

His satisfaction immediately increased.

Karl placed his soul imprint upon both artifacts.

The connection formed instantly.

With a thought, the sword and armor transformed into light and entered his body.

According to their functions, the Holy Light Armor would automatically manifest whenever Karl faced serious danger.

Karl nodded.

Then his gaze shifted toward the final purple sphere floating inside his System Space.

Concept Modification.

This was perhaps the most absurd reward of all.

It allowed him to modify concepts, essences, and abstract definitions themselves.

Theoretically, if Karl eventually became powerful enough to surpass Marvel's great abstracts—Eternity, Infinity, Death, and Oblivion—he could even attempt to modify concepts associated with their existence.

Of course, doing that now would be suicide.

Karl reached toward the purple sphere.

It entered his body.

His mental and soul power immediately surged as the ability fused with him.

Fortunately, Karl had already reached the early Super Single-Universe level.

One full day passed within the Shadow World.

Karl slowly opened his golden eyes.

He could feel it.

Concept Modification had completely fused with him.

Karl immediately thought of the Infinite Concept Energy Formula he had obtained previously.

A mischievous idea appeared in his mind.

He activated Concept Modification.

Then he directly altered the formula's positive conversion result by another ten thousand times.

Its output immediately rose to—

10,000,000 units!

Karl stared at the result.

Then he laughed.

From now on, energy shortages would become far less troublesome.

One ordinary energy crystal processed through the modified formula could theoretically produce ten million equivalent energy units.

This was the absurdity of conceptual manipulation.

After calming down, Karl retrieved the next reward.

The Kryptonian Codex of Life.

It appeared in the form of a book.

Karl opened it.

Each page contained enormous quantities of Kryptonian genetic information.

Biological templates.

Gene sequences.

Evolutionary data.

Countless records relating to Kryptonian physiology.

Then Karl reached the final page.

His eyes narrowed.

Superman Prime One Million.

The future Superman who had spent roughly fifteen thousand years within the sun and emerged transformed into a golden, enormously empowered version of himself.

However, the template before Karl wasn't simply the original DC genetic information.

The System had optimized it.

The additional abilities described by the System—including transcendence beyond ordinary four-dimensional limitations and unrestricted temporal manipulation—were modifications added to the template itself.

Karl didn't know exactly how powerful the original Superman Prime One Million truly was.

His canonical appearances and measurable feats were limited, despite the enormous implications surrounding him.

But that wasn't important.

The System-enhanced genetic template in Karl's hands was real.

And merely possessing the ability to manipulate time freely without being bound by ordinary temporal restrictions was already enough to make it worth studying.

Although Karl now possessed Concept Modification and his strength had reached the early stage of the Super Single-Universe level...
