Chapter 323 - Chapter 323: Yan's Urgency

"But even if we train as hard as we can, we may never reach the Single-Universe level. Wouldn't that mean..."

Inside the silent room, an Olympian goddess dressed in black gauze spoke hesitantly to Gaea and the others.

Her words caused disappointment to flash across the goddesses' faces.

More than that, there was fear.

Their hearts had long since been completely occupied by Karl. Now they wished they could give him everything they had.

The thought that Karl might one day lose interest in them was almost more unbearable than death.

"Perhaps there is another way."

Gaea sighed softly.

"It seems we've underestimated them."

Then she suddenly remembered what had led her to this realization in the first place.

Yan.

That blonde Angel had deliberately said those things within their hearing.

The more Gaea thought about it, the more certain she became.

"Wait here. I'll be back shortly."

Under the puzzled gazes of the other Olympian goddesses, Gaea flew toward the upper section of Karl's enormous quarters.

That was where Yan had moved her private garden.

Whether her guess was correct or not, Gaea had to try.

She couldn't bear the thought of losing Karl's affection.

Even if death awaited her, she had no intention of leaving him.

When Gaea opened the hidden door, a beautiful garden appeared before her.

Countless flowers bloomed throughout the space.

Gaea had no interest in admiring them.

She continued deeper inside until she found Yan, Hela, and Black Phoenix sitting together and drinking tea.

The moment Yan saw Gaea enter, a faint glimmer appeared in her eyes.

At least the Earth Mother wasn't foolish.

She had understood.

Gaea approached the three women and lowered herself respectfully.

"Greetings, Sisters."

Then she looked toward Yan.

"After hearing Sister Yan's words, we reflected on our situation."

"We realized that relying solely on the God-King's affection isn't a lasting solution."

"However, increasing our strength will take an enormous amount of time."

Gaea lowered her head slightly.

"So I came to ask Sister Yan for guidance."

Yan looked at her calmly.

"Not bad."

"At least you were smart enough to come here instead of continuing to compete like children."

She placed down her teacup.

"If you truly want to remain beside Karl, pleasing him alone isn't enough."

"I can help increase your strength."

Gaea's eyes immediately brightened.

"But I have one condition."

Yan's expression became serious.

"Other than Karl, my position comes first."

Hela and Black Phoenix immediately understood.

Neither was stupid.

Karl would inevitably have more women around him in the future.

If there was no order among them, constant competition would eventually become troublesome.

More importantly, Karl's strength was increasing far too quickly.

He had already reached the Super Single-Universe level.

Yan herself felt a growing sense of urgency.

If a woman stronger than her appeared one day, would her position beside Karl remain unchanged?

During the past month, Yan had already begun thinking about this problem.

If she wanted to remain at Karl's side forever, she couldn't afford to remain passive.

Gaea remained silent for several seconds.

Then she nodded.

"Of course."

"As the younger sister, I will follow Sister Yan."

Even if she refused, nothing would change.

Yan already understood exactly what the Olympian goddesses feared.

And if Yan only wanted recognition as the highest-ranking woman beneath Karl himself, Gaea could accept that.

Yan nodded in satisfaction.

"Go back."

"Have Vastness guide all of you to the warship's laboratory."

Gaea bowed slightly.

"Understood."

Yan then disappeared from her seat.

Before leaving, Gaea gave Hela and Black Phoenix a respectful nod.

She returned to the other Olympian goddesses and explained everything.

The room fell silent for a moment.

Eventually, they all agreed.

...

Under Vastness's guidance, the Olympian goddesses began making their way toward the laboratory.

Unlike before, their divine clothing was no longer particularly revealing.

Each goddess wore elegant, conservative garments that fully covered her figure while preserving her divine beauty and dignity.

On the way, they passed through the warship's central hall.

May, Raven, and Helen Cho happened to be there.

All three froze.

A large group of extraordinarily beautiful women was walking toward them.

Even their conservative divine garments couldn't completely conceal their graceful figures.

More importantly—

they had come directly from Karl's private quarters.

May, Raven, and Helen Cho recognized them.

The Olympian goddesses.

Looking at their radiant appearances, the three women immediately understood what had happened during the past few months.

The Olympian goddesses noticed them as well.

Gaea and Hera merely glanced over before continuing toward the laboratory.

The rest followed without saying anything.

That indifferent attitude immediately annoyed May, Raven, and Helen Cho.

But there was nothing they could do.

They couldn't control Karl's decisions.

And these Olympian goddesses had clearly already become part of his life.

The three could only watch them leave.

...

When Gaea, Hera, and the rest finally reached the laboratory, Yan was already waiting inside.

Various instruments and genetic equipment had been prepared.

Yan looked over the group.

"Remove your outer garments and enter the gene-modification chambers."

The goddesses obeyed.

After removing their heavier outer robes, only their fitted divine garments remained.

None of them appeared embarrassed.

One after another, they entered the chambers.

Yan intended to give them Kryptonian genes.

However, when she attempted to access the relevant genetic database—

[Access denied.]

Yan frowned.

She tried again.

The result was the same.

"Vastness."

[Yes, Lady Yan.]

"Why can't I access the Kryptonian gene templates?"

[Sir Karl personally restricted access.]

Yan sighed helplessly.

Of course he had.

She had no choice but to contact Karl directly and tell him she wanted to give the Olympian goddesses Kryptonian genes.

The next moment—

Karl appeared behind her.

His arms immediately wrapped around Yan's slender waist.

He leaned close to her ear.

"What's wrong, little Yan?"

His voice carried obvious amusement.

"Worried your husband might stop wanting you?"

Yan's body stiffened.

Karl knew everything that happened aboard the warship.

Naturally, Yan's little plan couldn't escape his notice.

And although Karl understood exactly what she was trying to do—

he had no intention of stopping her.
