Jay's PoV
Jay: "Okay, now I am nervous."
Keifer: "Why?"
Jay: "Because we have to actually go and face everyone."
Keifer: "You are saying as we eloped and it's forbidden."
Jay: "I mean we did elope."
Keifer: "Jay look at me, You have nothing to worry about, even if they get mad I'll face them." He says cupping my face.
Jay: "Okay fine."
I say and interlock my fingers with his as we make the way to the exit of he airport.
When we went out there was no sign of David which was weird because Keifer said that he always picks him up from the airport,
I look at him,
Keifer: "Wait, let me call him and check"
Jay: "Okay."
Keifer: "David where are you?"
David: "Actually something came up but don't worry I have a sent a car for you."
Keifer: "David has sent car for us, come let's go."
I nodded and joined him and he took our luggages and we spotted our car and we got and finally reached our home,
But there was some sense of peace after returning to home after vacation.
As we entered we were shocked by the surprise planned by our friends and not to mention, Keiren was here,
Keifer and I both look stunned by their surprise,
They hung a huge banner saying, "Happy engagement."
This is going to be fun, I thought and looked at Keifer as he gave me a nervous smile,
" SURPRISE " They shouted
Both of us just stood there, they all came towards us and hugged us. It was group hug,
Sara: "So tell us all about it?"
Keiren: "Yeah, Kuya do you have pictures?"
David: "How did you propose?"
Sara: "What was reaction? Did you expect it?"
They started bombarding us with questions,
While Keifer and I looked at each other,
Jay: "Actually" Keifer looked at me and so did everyone,
Jay: "Keifer has to tell something to you guys." I said fastly and closed my eyes while all the attention turned on him,
I opened my eyes slightly to see him giving a betrayed reaction,
He clears his throat and all looking at him expectantly,
Keifer: "Well.. actually we got married."
Sara: "Wait minute, you guys just got engaged, you have to wait till you guys get married" she say with a chuckle followed by a laugh,
but we just stay silent and they look at us,
and their eyes move from our face to our fingers, they finally spot the rings in our finger,
Keiren, Sara & David: "OH MY GOD" they shout simultaneously
JAYFER: "We are sorry"
Sara: "How can you get do that?"
David: "I thought we were friends"
Keiren: "How can you do this to me Kuya and ate you were supposed to be on my team"
Sara: "You know how excited I was that I get to plan your wedding and I'll be your bridesmaid"
David: "Yeah, and you guys got married without informing us"
Now I felt really bad after hearing them and I looked helpless and that's when Keifer saw me and gave me reassuring nod, which meant he will handle everything just like he said,
Keifer: "Guys calm down please, I understand you guys but I don't know initially I also planned to just to propose to her only but then the scandal happened and Jay went through it because of me and I didn't want to apart from anymore for whatso reason ever, I actually wanted to marry her as soon as possible and I thought there was no point in waiting and it felt right, It's not that we didn't want you guys there, it just that after everything we have been through, I thought it would be nice if it was just us, we just wanted the moment to be ours"
I loved the way how he beautifully worded it and I looked at him and interlocked our fingers together,
Jay: "Yeah, he is right and when he asked if I wanted to get married right now, I couldn't think of anything else other than a yes because it was perfect and just like he said it is what we wanted after the things we faced, we just wanted to have this beautiful memory cherished for ourself"
their faces changed and it felt like they were understanding what we were trying to say,
Jayfer: "But we are truly sorry"
Keiren, Sara & David: "It okay" they said in a low voice,
Sara: "You know what you guys can make up to us"
Jay: "How?"
Sara: "We can host a wedding reception and a party, so we don't miss out on the fun"
My smile widen and I look at Keifer and he smiles back at me,
Jay: "That is a great idea"
Keifer: "Yeah it is"
David: "Fine it is settled then, we will have a wedding reception "
Keiren: "Finally I thought I missed all the fun"
and we all laughed and hugged each other again,
Sara: "And congratulations to my favourite couple for getting married"
Keiren: "Yeah, congratulations Kuya and I am sorry ate for your fate" he said and I laughed while Keifer playfully threw a fist at him,
David came near Keifer and hugged him,
David: "congratulations man, You did it, you finally did and married the love of your life after all the struggles and hardship and I know you are wondering if this a dream, it's not you won, now you have your family that you always wanted and I am really happy for you and I am happy seeing you like this and hope both of you stay like this forever"
I admired them from aside because I have seen David all stand with Keifer in all of his face, he genuinely is a really good friends,
Keifer chuckled and said, "Thank Man" and they hugged,
Sara cleared her throat,
Sara: "Enough with your bromance, we have reception planning to do"
