Ren's brain stopped working as quick messages started appearing in front of him as he read one after another without stopping.
He for a single moment didn't doubt that this was a dream.
In past life he loved to read reincarnation novels and had a good idea about what system is. Even today when he woke up he was waiting for system to appear.
But as it didn't appear, he thought it was just his dream of perfect reincarnation will come true and now it finally came.
Did he have any doubts that it is dream or he never reincarnated and is still dreaming or someone on earth is showing him such dream or the godly being is manupilating him.

Ren quickly closed his eyes and opened noticing no difference. But soon a sphere of white light appeared on the study table some distance away from him.
The light quickly dissapeared leaving behind a green worm.

And a pokeball appeared in Ren's hand. Both pokemon and pokeball didn't look real, it was like a 3D projection. But Ren can still interact with them like system interface.
He quickly threw the ball towards caterpie which missed slightly as the caterpie moved a bit.
'What? I just have 5 balls here and I just missed such thing'
Ren composed himself again. This time he didn't want it to miss hence he closed the distance slowly , careful enough to not scare the Caterpie.
It was not that he knew it will be scared it was just that he was taking all possibilities into consideration as the pokeballs he has were low.
As he quietly approached, caterpie noticed him and started going away from him slowly but Ren didn't give it a chance. With close range he accurately threw pokeball with great speed, high enough that caterpie couldn't dodge and got captured in pokeball.

Ren watched it with full attention, he even started hearing his heart rate go high.

Ren became excited as he caught his first pokemon. He quickly looked the detail information.
'Hmm so it's very similar to the game I played in last life. CP is important factor which determines the strength of a pokemon. Then it's evolution can be done by catching multiple pokemons of the same species or by getting candies somehow using some method.
They can also be used for powerup which increase its CP.
I have 3 candies I can powerup, but I will be an idiot if I do such thing.
I need to store it to evolve it first and use it only on the best Caterpie I catch.
Unless really necessary, using candies will be a big loss'
Ren now fully awake forgetting his sleep quickly came out of his room.
Looking left and right, it was empty hallway where multiple room doors can be seen of students.
He lived in 2nd floor of this dormitory assigned for the 2nd Years which he has just moved out recently.
Rather than going right which is a deadend towards washroom he quickly started going towards left side while scanning each section of the area with his eyes.
He reached the center of dormitory from where stairs were visible for going up and down. After going down he will be stuck as main gate is closed at night.
So his only way was up and he knew a very good spot to see the pokemons from terrace.
He quickly started climbing the stairs and to his surprise as he entered the 3rd floor and looked to right. A pokeball appeared in his hands.
Ren quickly went into alert as he scanned previously scanned area and then saw. It was another caterpie crawling on the floor.
Due to lack of lighting he missed it. He quickly went near it and before it could go away threw his ball.
Tum... Tum.. Tummmmm....
