Chapter 15 - The Last Prophet Of Earth

Chapter Six Part Two

THE FIRST RESET

The scene shifted one final time.

The ancient Earth was cracking.

Cultivators fought in the sky.

Immortals tore continents apart.

The oceans boiled.

The moon shattered.

The sun dimmed.

Planets in the solar system collapsed like lanterns blown out.

And above it all…

Shangdi watched.

Not in rage.

In sorrow.

The Protector roared:

"STOP!"

But no one listened.

The prophet was dead.

The myths were divided.

The world was beyond saving.

Shangdi whispered:

"…Enough."

He lifted his hand.

And reality folded.

The planet dissolved into light.

Not destruction—

erasure.

Then—

darkness.

Then—

a new Earth.

Restarted.

Smaller.

Weaker.

Less connected to Heaven.

A mercy.

A limitation.

A prison.

Shangdi spoke:

"This has happened…"

"Again."

"And again."

"And again."

The memory ended.

The present returned like drowning.

The world was silent.

Humanity no longer feared aliens.

No longer feared war.

They feared themselves.

Zheng Wen Te looked up, shaking.

"…So we were gods."

"…And we killed your prophet."

"…And we destroyed Earth."

Shangdi's voice became the final blade.

"Yes."

Zheng Wen Te whispered:

"Then why choose me?"

Shangdi answered:

"Because you are not great."

"You are not powerful."

"You are not worshipped."

"You are broken."

"And broken men…"

Shangdi's tone deepened.

"…do not seek conquest."

"They seek meaning."

Zheng Wen Te's breath trembled.

Shangdi spoke the truth that shattered him:

"You are my last prophet…"

"Because you are the only kind humanity has not killed yet."

THE THIRD SCENE PREPARES

Above them, the orb containing Earth's sealed myths pulsed violently.

The Protector's eyes burned.

The giants stood like tombstones.

And humanity realized—

Scene Two was not history.

It was warning.

Because the cycle was restarting.

Again.

Right now.

Shangdi's voice echoed across existence:

"Scene Three…"

"…The Final Trial…"

And the heavens began to open once more.
