Chapter 4 - 4 Final term days

The months passed quickly, and soon the final term exams were announced.

The classroom suddenly felt more serious. Students were busy revising notes, solving question papers, and asking doubts.

Oliver had changed.

He was no longer careless about studies. He paid attention in class and completed his work on time. His answers in Maths and Physics were very good. Even teachers started noticing his improvement.

Anna saw it too.

"He's become serious," Emily whispered one day.

Anna nodded. "Yeah… he studies more now."

But there was one subject Oliver still struggled with — History

And that was Anna's strongest subject.

One afternoon, during history class, Oliver turned around and said quietly, "Anna… I don't understand this chapter. Can you explain it after school?"

Anna looked at the book.

"Okay," she said simply.

After school, they sat in the classroom while others left. Anna explained the chapter. Oliver listened carefully.

"Ohh… now I get it!" he smiled. "You explain better than sir."

Anna felt a small sense of happiness. "It's easy once you understand the basics."

But in Physics class, it was the opposite.

Oliver answered difficult numerical questions confidently. Even the teacher praised him.

Anna struggled with some Physics concepts.

One day, Oliver noticed her confusion.

"You didn't understand this?" he asked.

She shook her head slightly.

He pulled his chair closer and explained the formula patiently. "See, it's simple. Just apply this rule."

For the first time, Anna saw a different side of him — calm, focused, helpful.

They still weren't very close.

They didn't talk much outside studies.
