The next day, Amina found herself in the library again. She was looking for a poetry book when she noticed the same girl from the rain. Leila. She smiled at her from across the aisle, then bent to pick up the same book. Their hands brushed. A shock ran through Amina.
"I didn't mean to—" Amina began.
Leila laughed softly. "It's okay. Looks like we both like poetry."
And just like that, the spark was lit.
