They walked to the riverbank where they used to sit during college days.
Sara took a deep breath.
"My father wasn't just a businessman. He was involved in things… dangerous things. When he found out about us, he threatened you."
Arian froze.
"I thought if I left, he would leave you alone."
"So you decided for both of us?" he asked, anger rising.
"I decided to protect you."
