Sora stared intensely as two people appeared beside Gaara: Kankuro and Temari, both terrified that Sora would kill Gaara since he was their younger brother.
However, Gaara ignored them and showed no fear of being killed by Sora.
Instead, his eyes widened slightly, confusion surfacing within them because he could not accept why he still could not defeat him even after transforming into Shukaku.
"Because I have a reason why I cannot lose, nor can I die, and setting aside the fact that today it was just Shukaku,
Even if it were the Nine-Tailed or the strongest person in the Ninja World, I cannot lose and I cannot die because I will never allow anything to happen to myself."
Sora noticed that the killing intent surrounding Gaara was slowly weakening until it completely disappeared, which confused him greatly.

Sora had already left, yet his voice continued to echo in the air.
"People I cannot harm and people I love?" Gaara murmured as he became even more confused.
He thought about his own family and knew that Sora was not lying.
His obsession with Sora and his desire to kill him to prove his own value was not only because of Sora's strength and their battle years ago, but also because of one more reason.
That reason was the realization that Sora's eyes were very similar to his own.
Both were cold and indifferent, but Gaara revealed his emotions without restraint while Sora kept his hidden.
It was because of this person, who was similar to him yet seemed to stand at the opposite extreme, that Gaara had become so obsessed.
Especially since he had just witnessed Sora clearly reaching his limit yet still unleashing an even more terrifying power, which left him deeply puzzled.
"Let's go, Kankuro and Temari," Gaara said softly as his voice was calm yet no longer carried the same imperious tone as before, instead containing a faint hint of uncertainty.
Although it was subtle, Temari and Kankuro still noticed it and were momentarily stunned because Gaara had never spoken to them in such a tone before.
"Sora, hang in there because Lady Tsunade will arrive soon," Shizune said as she took a deep breath and focused all her energy on stabilizing his injuries, knowing she could not cure them immediately.
"It's fine because I won't die," Sora forced a smile, but the movement immediately triggered intense pain throughout his body and made him gasp.
"Do not move because your injuries are far too severe, so what exactly happened since I clearly saw that you were not this badly injured earlier?" Shizune asked.
"It is simple because this is the price of power," Sora said as he slowly exhaled as though trying to release the pain from his body.
"Did you notice how powerful those last attacks I used against Shukaku were?"
"Yes, they were extremely powerful and so strong that I doubt even a Jonin could defeat you," Shizune replied.
"Then it is normal because Rampage always carries a certain degree of backlash, but my body has grown stronger and my Qi and blood have become far more vigorous, which made the backlash from Rampage almost negligible.
However, the state I entered just now was something I comprehended between life and death, and it allows me to gain the power to destroy everything in an extremely short time but the cost could very well be my life.
Even now, I can only use it a few times, and the most troublesome part is that I cannot easily enter that state again because I have not fully mastered it, meaning I can only enter it again through a fortunate opportunity.
I call that ability Blood Frenzy because it uses my own Qi and blood as the price in exchange for the power to destroy everything.
In that state my mind is affected by intense killing intent and I become extremely bloodthirsty, and when it overlaps with Rampage the power becomes terrifying but the side effects are equally frightening.
The first time I used it, it almost killed me and I could not control it at all, and even now I cannot freely enter the Blood Frenzy state again because perhaps only when I stand on the verge of death once more will it be possible."
"You absolutely must not use that power again right now because it is too extreme and for your current condition it is nothing more than a devastating double-edged sword," Shizune warned seriously.
