Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Harvest

It was late at night.

Tokyo Jujutsu High.

A warm, yellow light was on in an old school building.

This place used to be a warehouse for miscellaneous items. It was remote, gloomy, and usually, not even stray cats bothered to visit.

But Gojo was a man of his word. Since he gave Lynn the title of "Jujutsu High Logistics Consultant," he let him do whatever he wanted with this unwanted plot of land.

This suited Lynn perfectly.

Remote meant hidden, and hidden meant it was convenient for conducting shady business.

"Phew..."

Lynn locked the heavy wooden door and hung up the "Closed" sign. He collapsed onto the red velvet sofa he had scavenged from a flea market, looking like a puddle of mud with zero regard for his image.

Exhausted.

This exhaustion wasn't physical, but extreme mental overdraft.

Chatting casually in front of Ryomen Sukuna, bargaining under Satoru Gojo's pressure—it was like tap-dancing on two nuclear launch buttons. One wrong step meant being blown to smithereens.

"However..."

Lynn raised his hand, took off his gold-rimmed glasses, and rubbed the throbbing space between his eyebrows.

"It was all worth it."

He snapped his fingers.

The air vibrated slightly, and the pale blue system interface, visible only to him, floated in the darkness.

[Current Balance: 50,070 Points.]

Looking at that string of numbers, a smile belonging to a nouveau riche finally appeared on Lynn's pale face.

In this high-risk world called Jujutsu Kaisen, this was the capital that allowed him to stand tall.

"Time to spend."

Lynn sat up straight, rubbed his hands together, and scanned the rows of products.

He knew very well that what he needed most right now was to improve his physical constitution first.

Although he possessed heaven-defying rule-based abilities that allowed for forced transactions, his original body was just that of a slightly healthy modern corporate slave.

Let alone a Special Grade curse, even a sneak attack from a Grade 4 curse could bite his neck off.

If he encountered curses like Jogo or Hanami, just the heatwaves and pressure they released would be enough to rupture Lynn's internal organs.

"Heavenly Restriction (Complete)... Price: 500,000 Points."

"Six Eyes Bloodline... Price: 400,000 Points."

"Special Grade Sorcerer Constitution... Price: 300,000 Points."

Lynn's mouth twitched.

There were so many good things, but they were truly expensive.

"I can't reach the heavens in a single step right now."

"I don't need to be able to tank Sukuna, but at least... I need to be able to survive the aftershocks of a Special Grade battle and take two punches without dying."

After some careful calculation and filtering, his finger stopped on a highly cost-effective option.

[Item Name: Basic Sorcerer Constitution Enhancement (Grade 2 Level)]

[Type: Body Modification]

[Description: Through Cursed Energy scouring, the ordinary human body's strength is raised to the standard of a "Grade 2 Jujutsu Sorcerer." Enhances cardiopulmonary function, muscle density, and neural reaction speed.]

[Price: 15,000 Points.]

[Note: You won't be tearing curses apart with your bare hands, but at least you're Superman compared to a normal person.]

"A Grade 2 Sorcerer's body is enough."

Lynn calculated. In this world, a Grade 2 Sorcerer was an elite capable of executing missions alone. They could run a marathon without panting and wouldn't die on the spot from a single punch.

"Purchase!"

[Ding! Transaction Confirmed. 15,000 Points deducted.]

[Modification commencing...]

Pain hit him like a tidal wave.

"Ugh!!"

Lynn bit down hard on the sofa armrest, veins bulging on his forehead. This wasn't modification; it felt like every bone in his body was being crushed and reassembled, every muscle fiber torn and reconnected.

Ten minutes later.

The inhuman torture gradually subsided. Lynn was soaked in sweat, gasping like a fish out of water.

But he could feel that his body had changed.

The heaviness from years of sitting in an office was gone, replaced by an unprecedented sense of lightness and fullness.

He clenched his fist, knuckles cracking crisply. The feeling of power made him think he could punch through a wall right now.

"I have the capital to survive. Next is... a Cursed Technique."

Lynn put his glasses back on and looked at the balance.

[Balance: 35,070 Points.]

Right now, his means of attack relied entirely on buying disposable items or using "Rules" to suppress enemies. It was too expensive and lacked a conventional method of output.

Lynn's gaze scanned quickly through the [Cursed Technique] column.

Suddenly, his eyes locked onto a familiar technique.

[Item Name: Ratio Technique (Improved Version)]

[Type: Innate Technique]

[Effect: 1. Forced Weakness: Divides the target's length into ten equal parts, creating a weakness at the 7:3 point. Hitting this point forces a critical hit.

2. Soul Resonance (New): When a weakness is successfully hit, the generated shockwave ignores physical defense and conducts directly to the target's soul, causing brief soul dizziness or structural damage.]

[Price: 20,000 Points.]

"Mr. Nanami's technique... and an enhanced version?"

Lynn's eyes lit up.

The original Ratio Technique was already a god-tier physical attack skill, known for being able to "cut through steel with a blunt blade."

And this system-improved version actually added the attribute of "Soul Attack"!

What did this mean?

It meant he possessed a natural counter to Mahito, who had "Idle Transfiguration" and could only be killed by attacking the soul.

Moreover, Soul Resonance could cause dizziness.

For Jujutsu Sorcerers who needed to maintain focus to use techniques, this was a nightmare.

"Buying it!"

[Ding! Transaction Confirmed. 20,000 Points deducted.]

[Technique Circuit Implantation in progress...]

This time, there was no pain.

Only a cool current flowing into his brain, then quickly spreading to his limbs and bones.

A massive amount of knowledge regarding geometry, division, and striking angles was carved into Lynn's mind like instinct.

The world changed in his eyes.

He looked at the solid wood coffee table in front of him.

In his vision, black ruler lines appeared on the surface of the table.

And at the 7:3 division point, a bright red dot was flickering slightly.

That was the "Death Line."

The flaw in all things.

Lynn casually grabbed a cheap plastic pen from the table.

A flick of the wrist.

"Hit!"

The pen became a blur, stabbing precisely into that red dot.

Hum—!!

The next second.

Crack.

The thick solid wood coffee table snapped cleanly and smoothly in two, starting from the point of impact.

The cross-section was as smooth as a mirror, as if cut by a laser.

And at the moment of fracture, Lynn clearly felt an invisible fluctuation spread from the pen tip, even causing the dust in the surrounding air to tremble.

"Is this... Soul Resonance?"

Lynn looked at the pen in his hand.

If a living person had been standing there just now, not only would their body be broken, but their brain would probably have been turned to mush.

"Perfect."

Satisfied, Lynn clipped the pen into his chest pocket.

With this move, he was no longer a defenseless profiteer, but an assassin capable of "physical + mental" double penetration at any time.

[Balance: 15,070 Points.]

In the blink of an eye, the massive sum was reduced to change.

Lynn felt the pinch, but he knew this last expenditure could absolutely not be saved.

In the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, there was a move that was a nightmare for all sorcerers—Domain Expansion.

Once pulled into a Domain, the opponent's attacks were guaranteed to hit. If he encountered freaks like Mahito or Jogo who could open Domains, Lynn would be dead meat no matter how good his body or technique was.

He had to have a countermeasure. That meant "that thing."

"Simple Domain."

Lynn searched.

[Item Name: Simple Domain (Auto-Trigger Version)]

[Type: Passive Skill/Barrier Technique]

[Description: No hand signs or incantations required. When the system detects the host is inside an enemy 'Domain', it automatically deploys a spherical barrier with a 2-meter radius to neutralize the sure-hit effect.]

[Price: 15,000 Points.]

"With this pricing, you're doing it on purpose, aren't you?"

Lynn looked at his balance, grinding his teeth. It was wringing every last copper coin out of him.

But to survive, he had no choice.

"Buy!"

[Ding! Transaction Confirmed. 15,000 Points deducted.]

[Current Balance: 70 Points.]

Back to square one overnight.

Looking at that pitiful balance, Lynn slumped weakly back onto the sofa.

The thrill of being a nouveau riche was gone, replaced by a deep sense of crisis.

"I'm broke."

"I don't even have enough money to trigger the 'Creditor Protection Mechanism' once."

Lynn muttered to the ceiling.

Although he now had the body of a Grade 2 Sorcerer, a technique capable of critical soul damage, and a Simple Domain, his core deterrent—the rule system based on "points"—was temporarily offline.

He had to make money.

He had to find new, high-quality customers as soon as possible.

Knock, knock, knock.

Just then, someone knocked on the heavy wooden door of the old school building.

Lynn's eyes sharpened.

Who would it be this late?

Lynn sat up straight, adjusted his slightly rumpled shirt, and put his gentle, professional fake smile back on.

Even if he was broke, the image couldn't collapse.

"Come in."

The door was pushed open, and the night wind rushed in.

Standing in the doorway was a girl wearing a Jujutsu High uniform.

She had a high ponytail, wore glasses, and carried a naginata taller than she was.

Her eyes were stubborn, yet held a long-suppressed longing.

Maki Zen'in.

"I heard a new school store opened here?"

Maki walked into the room, her sharp gaze sweeping the area before finally landing on Lynn with scrutiny.

"That idiot Gojo said you can buy anything here."

Maki slammed the butt of her naginata onto the floor with a dull thud.

"Is that true?"

Lynn looked at the girl in front of him and smiled.

He was just worrying about being broke.

And look, a fat sheep... oh no, a high-quality customer, delivering herself to his door?

"Of course it's true, Maki."

Lynn stood up and made an elegant "please" gesture.

"Whatever you want."

"As long as you can afford the 'price'."

"In this Exchange No. 8..."

"There is no business that cannot be done."
