Chapter 46 - ch 46

Obito originally thought Kazuki was just messing with him.

But the moment Kisame stepped forward—

That shark-faced grin, those brutal eyes—

Obito wanted nothing to do with him.

Before he could retreat—

Kazuki casually stepped back ten meters.

Leaving Obito in front.

Kisame laughed.

"Haha… how interesting."

"Training your rookies?"

"I'll kill all of you."

"Cut off your legs and feed them to the sharks."

Kazuki smiled lightly.

"Feed sharks long enough…"

"Eventually, you become shark food yourself."

"Die!"

Kisame's chakra exploded outward.

Kakashi's eyes widened.

He immediately threw a kunai.

Kisame swung his blade—

Clang!

The kunai snapped in half.

The blade continued downward—

Straight at Obito.

"AHHH!"

Obito fell backward onto the ground—

By pure accident, he barely dodged.

Wooden vines had slightly delayed Kisame's step.

Just enough.

The blade shaved across Obito's scalp.

Hair. Skin.

Gone.

Instant bald patch.

Kazuki couldn't help but laugh.

Obito burst into tears.

It hit him then—

Kazuki really wasn't saving him.

This was real.

Kakashi shouted,

"Obito, move!"

Kisame grinned viciously.

"Little brat, only knows how to cry?"

"If you want to blame someone, blame your useless teacher!"

Under life-and-death pressure—

Obito's Sharingan spun wildly.

He raised his kunai—

And actually blocked Kisame's blade.

At that instant—

Kazuki appeared in front of Kisame.

The real body.

The previous one—

A clone.

BOOM!

The force of Kisame's strike sent Obito flying backward.

His arm went numb instantly.

"Not bad," Kazuki said calmly.

"You blocked a jonin strike."

Obito blinked.

That wasn't the real teacher?

He looked ahead—

The other Kazuki was fighting Kisame.

Clone.

Rin rushed to Obito.

"I'll heal you!"

Green chakra gathered in her palm.

She pressed it gently against his arm.

Warmth spread through him.

Obito stared at her face—

His heart thumped.

Rin pouted slightly.

"Sensei, that was too dangerous! His arm almost broke!"

Obito felt a surge of motivation.

I'll become Hokage.

And marry Rin.

Pure wishful thinking.

Kazuki chuckled.

"If it's not dangerous, you won't grow."

On the battlefield—

Kisame felt a chill.

A clone had suppressed him?

This was bad.

He decided to escalate.

"Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave!"

A massive surge of water erupted from his mouth.

In seconds—

The entire forest transformed into a vast lake.

The four of them were now standing in knee-deep water.

Then chest-deep.

Then floating.

Kisame laughed cruelly.

"This battlefield belongs to me!"

"Drown."

He formed seals again.

"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet!"

A massive shark-shaped water projectile roared toward them.

"Mokuton — Wood Ingot Wall!"

Wooden pillars burst from the ground and curved overhead, forming a defensive arch.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The water dragon shattered against it.

But Kisame smirked.

In water—

His chakra techniques were nearly limitless.

Rin looked worried.

"Sensei, as long as there's water, his sharks won't stop!"

Obito activated his Sharingan.

"His chakra isn't dropping."

"It's increasing."

Kakashi frowned.

"Sensei… are you still holding back?"

Kazuki sighed slightly.

"No."

"I was just thinking how to break his water field."

He raised his hands.

"Mokuton — Deep Forest Emergence."

The earth trembled violently.

Cracks spiderwebbed across the ground.

Massive trees erupted upward at terrifying speed.

In moments—

A dense forest swallowed the artificial lake.

Roots pierced the earth.

Water drained instantly through the fractured terrain.

The entire battlefield transformed.

Kisame's pupils shrank.

"What kind of technique is this?!"

"When did Konoha produce a monster like you?!"

His first instinct—

Retreat.

He couldn't win.

Not here.

Not against this.
