Chapter 6 - Just leave, Nobody will stop you. .

When they set out the next day, the wheelbarrow really saved a lot of time and effort, and Zhang Tianbao and his brothers didn't have to carry their heavy belongings.

Seeing that there was still an empty space, Zhao Chunhua let the pregnant woman Xie Lanqin, the youngest Zhang Heizi and her daughter Zhang Baozhu get on the unicycle.

The three brothers pulled the cart, and she helped push it from behind.

"Mom! You come up and rest for a while, we have the strength to pull it!"

Zhang Tianbao said with a smile while wiping the sweat off his face.

He didn't know what's going on, but since he finished eating the meat porridge yesterday, he felt full of energy or more energetic than before.

The other two felt the same way.

Zhao Chunhua knew that this was due to the effect of the special lake water from her space.

Seeing that several people wanted her to get on the unicycle to rest, she glared at them and said, "Are you guys dissatisfied that I'm too old to walk?"

"Mom! I didn't mean that!"

Zhang Tianbao quickly scratched his head.

"Humph! If you don't mean to do that, just leave now and don't delay any longer."

After Zhao Chunhua said this unpleasant remark, the children no longer insisted.

But she was actually quite happy in her heart.

She has grasped this unreasonable yet approachable image very well.

At this time, Bai Xiaowei from the eldest family came over with her son and insisted on putting Erxi in the car without any explanation.

Sister inlaw erxi can't walk anymore, so let him ride in your cart!"

Bai Xiaowei and her husband had no children for many years. They only had Zhang Erxi in their later years. They spoiled him like a baby, which caused him to have bad attitude and ego.

However, Zhao Chunhua will not indulge him at all.

Seeing that Zhang Erxi is already as tall as her, Zhao Chunhua sneered and grabbed his collar.

Pushed him down with all a little strength.

"My sons are helping to pull the unicycle. How dare you get on and sit here when you are so old? You are so thick-skinned. Did you inherit your father's behaviour?"

Zhang Erxi was so angry that his face turned red. He retorted unconvincedly: "How can I be compared with him?"

He wanted to curse his second aunt as an inferior race, but was afraid of being beaten.

Zhao Chunhua sneered and exposed him directly: "What's the difference? Do you think that you are a young master and you are superior to others?"

As expected, Zhang Erxi raised his chin, looking very self-important.

Zhao Chunhua sneered and said, "Then you should ask your parents to buy a dozen maids to serve you, so as to avoid embarrassing yourself here!"

"Why is the second sister inlaw speaking so harshly?"

Bai Xiaowei pouted in dissatisfaction, "he just want to ride in your cart. Is it necessary to do this to a family member? Besides, you can even let that black boy get in the cart. Zhang Erxi is your nephew!"

Zhang Heizi pursed his lips silently and lowered his head.

Zhao Chunhua said impatiently: "What does it have to do with you! This cart is mine, I can take whoever I want!"

"Besides, who said Zhang Heizi is not one of our own? Since I raise him, I raise him as my own son. In my heart, he is much closer to me than your Zhang Erxi!"

Bai Xiaowei was so angry that she couldn't speak.

Zhao Chunhua decided to give Bai Xiaowei a taste of her own medicine. She patted Zhang Baozhu on the back and said, "Since my sister-in-law thinks we are all family, then you can go sit in your uncle's cart."

Then she turned around and smiled at Bai Xiaowei and said, "We are all family, so my sister-in-law shouldn't object, right?"

Bai Xiaowei was so angry that she almost fell backwards. Instead of gaining any advantage, she was almost taken advantage of by someone else.

Bai Xiaowei had no choice but to pull Zhang Erxi away angrily, and finally got into her own cart.

Zhao Chunhua snorted lightly, turned her head to look at the sky, and frowned slightly.

The sky was overcast and it looked like heavy rain was coming.

She turned around and told Zhang Tianbao: "Go and tell the village chief that there will probably be a heavy rain soon. Don't leave in a hurry. Find a cave for everyone to take shelter first."

Zhang Tianbao immediately went to discuss with the village chief.

The village chief consulted with several experienced elders in the village, and they agreed with Zhao Chunhua's opinion, so they took everyone to a nearby cave to rest and adjust.

But the people in the first house were unhappy.

"It's only noon now, why stop? It's such a waste of time!"

Zhang Laosan followed suit, looking dissatisfied: "That's right, how can it rain if she says it will? Is she the Water Dragon King?"

The village chief looked at them coldly and said, "You can leave if you want. No one will stop you."

Zhang Defu was turned down and didn't dare to say anything, but he still insisted on choosing a good space to sit with his family. It was close to the cave entrance with good ventilation and was not as cold as inside.

Zhang Laosan naturally went with him.

Zhao Chunhua ignored them and after settling her own family, she went to discuss the matter with the village chief.

"We will encounter more and more refugees. Some local troublemakers have also formed bandit groups. I fear they will take advantage of the chaos to cause harm. We must select a few strong young men to take turns guarding the cave at night."

It was understandable that Zhao Chunhua felt such concern.

"A famine had already spread through the nearby villages; many had perished, and many others had fled. "Last month while fleeing, bandits disguised as refugees attacked the already weakened villagers, looting the survivors and violating their dignity. The suffering of the women was beyond words. It was a terrible sight to behold."

The situation is chaotic and anything can happen to them too.

"The village chief agreed wholeheartedly and gazed at her with admiration. Without delay, he organized the elderly, the women, and the children to take shelter inside, while only a handful of young men remained outside."

Zhang Erxi refused to move into the cave with other children no matter what.
