Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Tiger Lord of Water

The group of Astral Breakers stood in front of the dilapidated building that had once been the pride of the Eternal Valley City. It had the look of something that had withstood the ravages of time, but now, in the midst of the apocalypse, it was just another relic, its purpose long forgotten. The cold wind blew past, and for a moment, there was nothing but silence.

Jiwon, standing at the forefront, couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong. The usual sense of clarity that came with his understanding of the world, of his story—his *manhwa*—was clouded, disturbed by an unsettling sense that he couldn't quite place. His mind, a place where reality and imagination blurred, suddenly felt like it was slipping through his fingers. Suddenly the humanity with Armour smiled and then he told " your game starts now". With a smile

Then, as if responding to his unease, the world around them flickered. The system notifications, which had always been a constant companion to the Astral Breakers, began to blink rapidly. The urgent task alert flared before them all:

**"Warning: A powerful master is approaching. The Tiger Lord of Water is coming to attack. All personnel are to prepare for battle."**

Before anyone could react, the ground trembled, and a monstrous roar echoed through the valley. Emerging from the shadows, a massive tiger-like creature appeared, its fur a deep, ominous blue, adorned with strange, intricate markings. Its eyes glowed with an unnatural intensity, and it moved with a terrifying grace, its claws scraping against the cracked earth.

The atmosphere shifted from confusion to pure panic. The group of survivors, who had once thought themselves safe within the walls of this broken city, were now paralyzed with fear. The system had given them a clear task: **Survive**.

But survival wasn't so simple.

Chaos erupted as the Tiger Lord's roar sent shockwaves through the air. Twenty people were torn apart in mere moments, their bodies falling like broken dolls. The rest scattered, running for their lives, desperate to escape the beast's wrath.

Jiwon's heart pounded in his chest. He knew this creature—he had created it. **This was his monster**, the Tiger Lord of Water, from his *manhwa*. His eyes widened as he realized something that made his blood run cold. The core of this monster, this *being*, was exactly as he had envisioned it. But the story... the story was completely different.

*What was happening?*

Suddenly, the pieces began to fall into place. Jiwon's mind, shaped by the intricacies of his manhwa intelligence, kicked into overdrive. As a manhwa artist, he knew that every story had its own rhythm, its own core truth, even if it was twisted by time and perspective. His *Pen of Reality* was the key, and he realized that the world around him was a warped version of what he had created.

His creator's ability surged within him. Without hesitation, Jiwon activated his *Bandsaw Stas*, a skill that reflected the raw power of his creator's will. It was time to think like a manhwa creator.

He ran towards a nearby river, his mind calculating his next move. His heart raced as the system blinked in warning.

**"Error: Risk to character's life detected. Immediate action required."**

But Jiwon didn't hesitate. He trusted his instincts. His next move was already clear.

He jumped into the river.

For a moment, the world seemed to freeze. The system's error flashed in his vision, but he couldn't afford to care. He was the creator—he was the one who shaped this reality.

As he plunged into the water, something unexpected happened. The Tiger Lord, in its rampage, made its way toward the river, perhaps drawn by Jiwon's presence. But as it entered the water, the creature's massive form faltered, as if something in the current had thrown it off balance. It struggled to swim, its claws scratching at the riverbed, but it couldn't rise. The tiger sank deeper, until it disappeared entirely into the dark, swirling depths.

Jiwon emerged from the water, gasping for breath, but a small smile tugged at his lips. He had done it. He had used his understanding of the story, his *manhwa intelligence*, to outwit the system, to outwit the very world he had created.

But the system was not done with him.

Suddenly, a new error appeared on his screen.

**"System Error: Unauthorized action detected. How did you do that?"**

Jiwon's smile faded slightly, but relief washed over him. For the first time since his creation of this world, he felt like he had regained control. He wasn't just a pawn in the story—he was its creator. And he would continue to rewrite it on his terms.

As Jiwon turned to leave the riverbank, he felt the ground shake beneath his feet. The air grew heavier, charged with a strange energy. He turned slowly, and his heart skipped a beat.

Standing before him was a new monster, one far more terrifying than the Tiger Lord. A humanoid figure, towering and menacing, with an *SS-rank* designation flashing across its form. Its eyes glowed with an unnatural light, and its body was surrounded by an aura of pure, deadly power.

This was no ordinary creature.

And it was looking right at Jiwon.

To be continued...
