Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: Card Collection Successful

Jordan dispelled the lightning wrapped around his arm and helped Peter B. Parker, who was lying on the sofa, shift to a more comfortable position.

"Thanks, buddy. Thank you for not giving me another electrotherapy treatment." Peter, the middle-aged man from Universe 616B, breathed a sigh of relief and joked while enduring pain throughout his body. "Of course, I'd be extremely grateful if you could give me some healing medicine."

Beneath the tattered suit lay a bloody mess of wounds. Some from high-energy weapons. Others from sharp objects that had cut or pierced through. A truly horrific sight.

"Spider-Man's base wouldn't be complete without these."

Upon seeing this, Aunt May immediately brought over a first-aid kit.

Jordan took the spider-themed med kit from Aunt May and rummaged through it for medicine, alcohol, and bandages to help Peter treat his wounds.

"Bear with the pain. You're badly injured."

"It's alright, these are just minor injuries. Back in the day... Ouch! I mean, buddy, your bandaging skills might need some improvement?"

"Of course. I haven't used these things much since my debut."

"...Can I request that the other lady come and help me instead?"

One Hour Later

Using a damaged USB drive provided by Miles, Peni and her spider partner SP//dr worked together to replicate a "key" that could control the particle collider, then happily engraved their own stamp on the back of it.

With Aunt May's permission, Miles chose a suit for himself and Peter. Peter simply used the classic red and blue suit, made of high-polymer material to ensure he could wear it even if his body shape changed. Miles spray-painted his own in his personal style.

Main color: black. Paired with a red spider web pattern.

Spider-Man Noir said it looks cool.

The arrival of the two also brought Jordan the last fantasy card in the Spider Superpower series.

[Fantasy Card: Spider Static Electricity]

Type: Ability Card • Rarity: SR

Spider-Man's superpower allows him to scale walls and leap across rooftops.

Effect 1: Adsorption Capacity

Interatomic forces (such as electrostatics) that control molecular boundaries allow the body to adhere to surfaces and climb or move rapidly.

Effect 2: Bioelectric Current

Ultimate Spider-Man is even more adept at controlling electrical charge within his body, allowing him to fight using electric currents.

The reason it's called the last one is because the Stand immediately reminded Jordan that multiple cards can be fused together.

[Fantasy Card: Spider Superpower] ×7

Stand ability activated. Cards fused!

[Fantasy Card: Spider Superpowers]

Type: Ability Card • Rarity: SSR

Anyone can be Spider-Man by simply putting on a mask.

Effect 1: Spider-Sense

Anticipating danger

Spider-Time

Effect 2: Spider Physical Fitness

Spider Strength (Super strength, exceptional performance)

Spider Agility (Super agility, silent movement)

Spider Endurance (Super endurance, peak performance)

Spider Healing (Healing factor, toxin immunity)

Effect 3: Spider Static Electricity

Adsorption capacity

Bioelectric current

Effect 4: Combat Expert

Master of hand-to-hand combat

Proficient in firearms

The power of the cards fused within him. Jordan's second SSR ability card was born.

What was originally a single type of enhancement evolved into a complete superpower system. The interaction between abilities produced an indescribable chemical reaction, multiplying the effects.

Having broken through the limits of racial growth, his body underwent a volcanic eruption-like comprehensive enhancement. After that, Jordan vaguely sensed the existence of a bottleneck.

Real, but not solid. Seemed like it could be pierced with just a little more force.

Having spent considerable time with Saitama, Jordan was no stranger to the limiter's existence, nor did he have much reverence for it.

At worst, it's just a hot pot meal.

If one meal isn't enough, then two will do.

Moreover, Jordan hasn't reached his true limit yet.

As if in response to his wishes, the Stand promptly conveyed a message.

[Normal-level attribute cards can no longer provide enhancement effects and must be fused before use.]

[Fusion Formula: Attribute N Card × 10 = Attribute R Card]

"Hey buddy, your name's Jordan, right?" Peter B. Parker, dressed in brand-new battle suit, approached Jordan with a plate full of food. "Am I just imagining things? You seem a little different."

Jordan pointed to a spot not far away. "Just like that kid?"

On the other side of the base, Miles solemnly changed into his combat suit, carefully checking every detail.

"Yes, it's a feeling that's hard to describe in words."

Peter B. Parker leaned against the coffee table, eating the sandwich Aunt May had prepared in advance. The injuries on his face had mostly healed.

"He probably found his own path, while I just consolidated my strength." Jordan clenched his fist, veins bulging on his arm. "Sometimes knowing too many things isn't a good thing."

Peter nodded as he ate, indicating agreement. "You're right."

"Can you tell me what happened to you?" Jordan asked. "Gwen said before that Miles hadn't had superpowers for long, but his performance after arriving at the base shows he's definitely not a rookie."

"Well, how should I put it..." Peter hesitated for a moment, then whispered back. "When we left, we ran into Miles' uncle... He was the Prowler, working for Kingpin, but that was a long time ago! To help us escape, Miles' uncle ultimately betrayed Kingpin, and as a result..."

"Alright, I got it."

Jordan nodded. Seemed the little spider hadn't escaped the fate of being sacrificed to his own family.

Suddenly, Jordan realized something!

It seems I've just gained the complete "spider superpower," right?

So, can I return home?

On second thought, the friends he'd been closest to since transmigrating were a fierce old man who could kill two dragons with his bare hands and a balding man currently training to break his limiter.

"Guys, it's time to go." Miles, now dressed in his Black Spider suit and acting as host, clapped his hands to gather everyone. The Spider-Men present quickly assembled.

"Kingpin will definitely restart the particle collider, and we won't let him do that. It's time to end all of this!"

The Spider-Men were all eager to get started. "Let's go!"

Among them, the smallest Spider-Ham, Peter Porker, was the most radical. "Let's fu** them!"

Spider-Man Noir warned, "Hey, your words are being censored. You can't swear."

Peter Porker immediately unleashed a flurry of flying punches. "Then let's beat them up!"

Spider-Man Noir couldn't help but facepalm. "..."
