Chapter 2 - Starting by Defeating Fugaku

After all, he had transmigrated sixteen years ago—born into the Uchiha, raised among the Uchiha.

Man is not grass or stone; who could be without feelings?

Most of his family and friends were members of the Uchiha clan. Naturally, he could not stand by and watch the tragedy of the Night of Extermination unfold.

"Shimura Danzō, Hiruzen Sarutobi, that so-called filial son Uchiha Itachi… and the Obito lurking in the shadows."

As he recited the names of those responsible for the massacre, a cold glint flickered inUchiha Akihito 's eyes.

Of the four culprits, Itachi could be ignored for now. He had only just graduated from the Academy and wasn't particularly strong yet.

The other three, however, were genuine Kage-level powerhouses.

If he wanted to deal with them, Akihito would have to plan carefully.

Setting others aside for the moment—Danzō, the so-called "Shadow Hokage," had been relentlessly targeting the Uchiha while secretly coveting the forbidden ocular power of the Sharingan.

Bluntly speaking, Danzō had already earned a spot on Akihito's kill list. The Uchiha and Danzō could not coexist.

As for the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi—benevolent on the surface, but rotten underneath. In the original story, though he opposed exterminating the Uchiha, he had both openly and covertly taken part in marginalizing and suppressing them.

He was also instrumental in brainwashing Uchiha Itachi.

Turning a once-in-a-century genius of the Uchiha clan into a tool to slaughter his own kin.

And all under the noble banner of "for Konoha" and "for peace in the ninja world."

Spare him.

The remaining two members of Konoha's F4—Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane—were practically joined at the hip with Danzō.

But after years in high office and neglecting their training, their strength had long since fallen to rock bottom. Akihito didn't even regard them as worthy opponents.

Even without the Mangekyō, he could easily dispose of those two old relics.

Once Shimura Danzō and Hiruzen Sarutobi were dealt with, the so-called advisors would collapse without a fight.

As for his old classmate Obito—that severe lunatic was somewhat harder to handle.

Rin Nohara had died, so Obito wanted to destroy the world and create one where Rin still existed.

Akihito could only say: the guy was insane. Completely and utterly insane.

Obito knew of Madara's plan. He knew the Rinnegan had the power to resurrect the dead.

Instead of seizing the Rinnegan to revive Rin, he insisted on carrying out the Eye of the Moon Plan—casting the entire world into an illusion just to wallow in his own fantasy.

If that wasn't madness, what was?

It could only be said that Madara's brainwashing methods were even more formidable than the so-called Will of Fire.

[Three-Tomoe Sharingan (Proficiency 100%) → evolves into Mangekyō Sharingan (Proficiency 0.1%)!]

As time passed, the long-awaited notification finally echoed in his mind.

At the same moment, an immense surge of ocular power flooded from his consciousness into his eyes.

"Ah—ah—AH!"

As the power poured in, Akihito's face twisted in agony, and he couldn't help but cry out.

It felt as though his eyes were being scorched over an open flame—an unbearable, searing pain.

At some point, two streaks of bloody tears had already run down his cheeks.

Fortunately, the torrent of ocular power soon subsided, and the bone-deep burning sensation gradually faded.

"Hah… hah… hah…"

Akihito panted heavily. Several minutes later, he slowly opened his eyes.

Within them, the three tomoe began to distort and merge with the central pupil, forming a windmill-like pattern.

He hurriedly grabbed a mirror, examining the Mangekyō reflected within. The corners of his mouth lifted into an uncontrollable smile.

Though he had yet to sense his unique Mangekyō abilities, the explosive increase in ocular power alone was enough to satisfy him.

With his current eye power, once he cast a genjutsu, who below the Kage tier could possibly resist?

Moreover, the Mangekyō Sharingan was known as the "eye that reflects the heart."

Given time to mature, his eyes would naturally give birth to abilities most suited to him.

Even awakening the divine power known as Susanoo was only a matter of time.

"It's time to begin the first step of the plan—take the position of Uchiha Clan Head."

Deactivating the Mangekyō, Akihito smiled confidently.

The first step in saving the Uchiha was simple:

Become the clan head.

With the Mangekyō Sharingan and his unique system ability, he was already almost certain he could defeat the current clan head—

Uchiha Fugaku.
