Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Second Wish – Horror Unleashed

Adam stood in front of the tree, gripping his father's old watch tightly. He had already felt the price of his first wish—his father's memory was gone. But his curiosity and greed had not diminished.

"My second wish… I want all my pain and sickness to vanish," he whispered.

The tree's branches suddenly shimmered with a ghostly glow. A strange sound echoed through the dark air—as if a thousand cries were merging into one. Swirling fog twisted around Adam's feet.

In that moment, he felt his body lighten. But before he could fully process it, a terrifying vision appeared—dark shadows emerging from the tree's roots, creeping into his home. Those shadows began devouring every joyful memory and every moment of happiness he had ever known.

Adam realized—the tree wasn't just erasing his pain, it was feeding on the small, precious joys of his life.

His heart trembled. "Did I just trade my happiness for this wish?" he screamed inside.

The branches of the tree bent slowly around him. He tried to cry out, but no sound came. The cost of the second wish was far more horrifying than Adam had ever imagined.
