Anita was angry and hurt but it was better to show the anger.
"This is like the hundredth time we are talking about this" Samuel said foaming
"We are talking about it this long because it is not normal. We have dated for close to three years...three years! and you haven't introduced me to your parents" She said angrily
Samuel gazed at the ceiling momentarily heaving a sigh
"Anita my parents knows about you of course and will soon see you in no time when l propose"
"How is the proposal affecting you from introducing me to your parents. I'm not forcing you to propose to me. I'm only saying with how long we have dated your parents should have seen me by now. You practically know about my mom, my sister,my..."
"Not this again l beg of you. This is getting as old as an old track"Samuel said annoyingly retying his tie for the fifth time
"Yeah. I'm now as old as an old track..."
"You know that wasn't what l was trying to say" He said in frustration
"No!. What you are saying is that l have no value in your life that lm only forcing myself on you"
"Please stop" Samuel murmured tiredly
"If you want me to stop take me to the wedding"
"Goodness God" he dragged his hair with his hands in frustration roughing the perfect style he had on earlier and when he spoke again his voice was strained in his attempt not to lose his temper
"I can't take you with me Anita for so many reasons. Now my parents haven't seen you before and l suddenly show up to a cousin's wedding with you
Are my trying to seek for attention? The day should be about my cousin not me nor you"
"You wouldn't be giving me this reason if you had taken me to them earlier"

"It was not. We had opportunities. Your parents anniversary. Your sister's birthday...there was so many opportunities" She said trying so hard to conceal the hurt she was feeling with nothing to do she started rearranging clothes she had arranged before
It was as if Samuel had no intention of bringing her to his parents
"Baby" He said quietly covering the little distance between them
Holding her hands he said "Baby look at me. Look at me" She did and saw the fatigue on his face he had pulled an all night at the office yesterday and was still leaving for work because his boss wants them to meet a client. Her heart softened
She had been pushing him when all he needed was an understanding woman by his side
"Baby. I'm going to promise you that after the wedding we will set out a week and pay them a visit"
This was new. He hadn't made her such promise before

"Yes my darling" he said caressing her
"I don't think your boss will let you off for a whole week"She murmured distracted by his touches
" Oh l think l have earned it" He said and brushed her lips with his using his tongue to trace her neck
She gasped
"I...umm...l don't know if l can close the shop...ah" she ached back when his hands started trailing down
" You smell so nice. I have been with you for more than two years and l can't seem to get enough of how good and intoxicating you smell" He murmured
"Open for me"He whispered sexily
She did immediately and his hand dipped inside her
She was already hot and wet
"Umm" She moaned drawing back and widening her legs
He kissed her ears

His phone started vibrating and she felt him pause and rubbed her breast already hard on his chest telling him not to stop

"I'm late" He said picking up his phone and brief case gave her an absent kiss on her cheek and walked out

He just turned her on and left her for work???

She signed
And went inside the bathroom to shower
In the parking lot Samuel redialed the call from 'my boss' that he didn't pick
On the third ring the line connected
"Hi" A sleepy woman's voice answered
"My angel" he said driving out
"Woke up and didn't see you"
" Yeah. I had some errands to attend to. You were looking so beautiful l didn't want to disturb your sleep"
"That's silly. Could have prepared breakfast for you"
"That's so sweet you can cook dinner for me if Mrs. T will let you any where near the kitchen" He said chuckling as she laughed from the other end
" A few days to our wedding. I can't wait to answer Mrs.Clinton"
"Me too baby" He murmured distractedly as he saw Anita's text pop up
