Chapter 12 - Your Mangekyō Is Too Weak!

Shuoye smiled faintly and shook his head.

"There's no need."

His tone was relaxed, as if Fugaku's challenge did not concern him in the slightest.

"No need?"

Fugaku let out a cold snort, fury igniting in his chest.

Since when—

Had anyone dared to look down on him like this?

"If that's the case… then I'll show you the true power of the Uchiha!"

He drew in a deep breath.

The next instant—

His Sharingan twisted.

The three tomoe merged and transformed into the Mangekyō Sharingan.

A terrifying surge of chakra exploded outward, shocking everyone present.

"The Mangekyō Sharingan?!"

"Clan Leader Fugaku awakened the Mangekyō?!"

Whispers rippled through the crowd.

Even the Great Elder and Shisui Uchiha froze in disbelief.

Fugaku's voice boomed like thunder.

"Shuoye—don't blame me for not giving you a chance!"

The power of the Mangekyō Sharingan spread across the training grounds, turning the atmosphere suffocating.

Shuoye's smile remained.

But within his eyes—

Battle intent flickered.

Yes…

Now this was interesting.

"If things turn bad, we must protect Shuoye at all costs," the Great Elder murmured.

Shisui nodded gravely.

As someone who also possessed the Mangekyō Sharingan, he understood the terror of its power better than anyone.

Fugaku stood at the far end of the arena, an indescribable authority radiating from him.

He stared at Shuoye, confidence curling at the edge of his lips.

Then—

He slowly closed his eyes.

The world seemed to fall still.

An invisible ripple spread outward from him.

The prelude to Tsukuyomi.

"Shuoye," Fugaku's voice echoed coldly within his opponent's mind, "the genjutsu you toyed with before is worthless in front of me."

"Now experience what true illusion truly is."

"Tsukuyomi!"

In an instant—

The Mangekyō spun violently.

An invisible force erupted.

Tsukuyomi.

A Mangekyō Sharingan technique capable of dragging the target into a world crafted entirely by the caster.

Time.

Space.

Mass.

Everything within that world was under the wielder's control.

The victim would endure endless torment—

While only a single moment passed in reality.

Yet within the Tsukuyomi realm—

Shuoye stood perfectly calm.

No fear.

No distortion.

Fugaku felt something strange stir in his heart.

This reaction—

Was wrong.

Then—

Shuoye chuckled softly.

"Fugaku…"

"When did you decide… that you were the only one with the Mangekyō Sharingan?"

Fugaku's pupils contracted violently.

The words struck like lightning.

He snapped his eyes open.

The Mangekyō pattern trembled within his gaze.

"What… what did you say?"

His voice wavered.

Shuoye's smile carried both mockery and cold indifference.

"The Mangekyō Sharingan is powerful."

"But it is not invincible."

"And I never said… I couldn't use it."

As his words fell—

His own eyes began to change.

The three tomoe spun.

Merged.

Blossomed.

A Mangekyō Sharingan pattern unfurled within his pupils like a dark flower in full bloom.

"Break."

His voice was low—

Yet it resounded like thunder.

In that instant—

Light fractured.

The illusionary world shattered like glass.

Cracks spread across the fabricated space.

Fragments collapsed into nothingness.

Reality snapped back into place.

Fugaku's body jolted violently.

Pain exploded in his mind.

Blood streamed from his eyes, staining his face.

He staggered backward, clutching at his vision as backlash tore through him.

"This… this is impossible!"

He stared at Shuoye in disbelief.

"You… you awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan too?!"

The spectators erupted.

"Two Mangekyō Sharingan…"

"How is this possible?!"

Among the younger Uchiha, fists clenched in awe.

Shock.

Reverence.

Excitement.

Near the Great Elder, several elders exchanged grave looks.

"This child's potential… exceeds our expectations."

"Perhaps… the Uchiha truly stand at the dawn of change."

Shisui's pupils shrank.

"When… when did Shuoye awaken it?"

Confusion and disbelief flickered within his deep gaze.

But across the arena—

Shuoye stood unmoved.

His Mangekyō Sharingan rotated slowly.

Cold.

Dominant.

He looked at Fugaku—

And spoke without emotion.

"Your Mangekyō…"

"Is too weak."
