I wake up from my sleep, knowing that today is going to be another day of hellish training in this country, in the middle of its endless summer. As I get ready to go to the backyard and train with my brother, I see a book on the nightstand next to my bed.
I wonder how it got here, as I remember locking my room door before going to sleep. It was strange. Then I thought it must be a grimoire that my brother had bought for me, but I wondered how he had managed to get it inside.
As I opened it, the first page was full of weird letters, just like a grimoire. Should I drop my blood on it? I know that I shouldn't do that until I reach the age of 12, but I got excited since I want to be able to see them that much, as my family isn't that rich.
As the blood touched the book, the letters on it started to stream into my head. I got scared as I understood that it's not a grimoire. The first words that entered were, "Hi there, Ethan Blackwood. I will refer to you as that from now on, as that will be your name from now on. Isn't it? You didn't like the end of my story, right? Then why don't you change it? I will not give you much, but here you can have the story burned into your brain and put a barrier around it so you don't go totally insane. You have ten seconds before you pass out from the pain that will hit you. Goodbye."
"Wait, Ethan Blackwood isn't that our neighbor's son? You mean he isn't from this world, and what is this story he is talking about?" After that, he got the pain he was promised and started to scream his lungs out. The last thing he saw was his father kicking the door of his room in.And his father screams, "Noah, what happened to you?"

There was a book that explained my world word for word. When it's talking about the past, at first, I thought that it was a history book, but it started talking about the future more and more. I read some information that was scary to think about, like how the world became the way it is because the government did experiments on a crystal that can control the weather. They called it the Seasons Crystal, but they hid it, saying that it was the 2nd mana awakening. All of that happened fifty years ago, but that can't be true, can it?
As I wake up, I look around me to find myself inside a hospital. It was a private room with a small TV in the corner and a second bed with my father sleeping on it. I go to him and start to cry.Father
POV 2 hours earlier,
It was a normal Saturday. I was watching my favorite show, and Alan was outside training, as he will soon have to think about which college to attend and see if he can get into a magic academy. As the show ended, it was time to wake Noah up.
As I got up from the couch, I heard Noah scream. At first, I thought he had a nightmare, but the screaming got louder, so I ran to his room. As I got closer, I felt the faint trace of mana.
Thinking it was a gate, I kicked the door in, but there was nothing inside. There was a mana trace around Noah, but it disappeared the moment I got in, and he was on the floor, not moving i called the ambulance as i started to check on him.
i feared that it was one of the new diseases that got out after the magic in the world returned so check for those symptoms.
