Chapter 1 - The Tower's Hidden Trial (chapter 1)

The moment Arjun's eyes adjusted to the dum light he realized the room was larger than it first appeared. Dust motes floated like tiny stars but Shadows moved Independently, twisting along the walls. The three object before him- the mirror, the chest, and the humming book -seemed to pulse in anticipation as if aware of his presence.

A whisper slithered through the air, barely audible

"Choose wisely... or be trapped forever... "

Arjun's hand hovered over the mirror. It's surface shimmered like liquid silver, reflecting not his face but flashes of strange, unfamiliar places. He withdrew, a chill running down his spine. The chest rusted and ancient, seemed ordinary... Yet a fent humming escaped from within, like a heartbeat. And the book, glowing faintly vibrated in rhythm with the tower itself.

Instinct screamed at him to leave. But leaving wasn't an option-he had come too far , and something in the Tower's dark heart was calling him forward.

He finally reached out to the chest. The moment his fingures touched the cold metal, a deep rumble echoed through the tower. The floor beneath him trembled, and the shadows elongated, crawling toward him like a living fingers.

The chest creaked open, revealing... Nothing but darkness. And then, from within, a soft glowing orb floated out, illuminating a spiral path downward into the Tower's unseen depths.

Arjun heartbeat thundered. The orb pulsed, beckoning him, yet he hesitated. Every instinct warned him the Tower's trials were not mere illusions.

Summoning courage, he followed the orb. The staircase beneath him was gone- replaced by a winding stone path that descended deep into the bowels of the tower. Each step was uneven, slick with moisture, and the shadows seemed to watch twisting into shapes that vanished if he tried to look directly at them.

Suddenly a whisper again, louder this time:

"Only the brave-or the foolish-may proceed... "

Arjun gritted his teeth. "I didn't come this far to turn back, " he muttered. And with that, he stepped into the darkness below.

The air grew colder. Strange symbol glowed faintly on the walls pulsing like they were alive. The humming of the book above still echoed somewhere guiding-or warning-him. A low growl rumbled from the darkness ahead.

Arjun paused. Two paths diverged before him:

•One narrow tunnel with walls covered in glowing sigils

•Another wide stairwell, Descending into pitch- black void

A choice had to be made... and the wrong one could cost him more than just fear.
