Chapter 1 - The Man Who Stands Among Graves

Rain struck the roof of the church,

but it did not sound like ordinary rain.

Each drop felt as if it were knocking

against something buried within the stone.

Father Silus stood by the window.

He did not light a candle.Darkness was enough for him.Darkness did not frighten him.

Because he knew what lived inside it.

Cold spread across the hall.

wooden pews were silent.shadow of the cross stretched longer.

The chain of the bell trembled slightly.

No sound.

Silus closed his eyes,he was not listening to the rain.It was something else.

A faint, exhausted breath,Someone was standing behind him he did not turn.

"What do you want…"

walls grew colder, wind stopped only the rain continued.slowly he turned In the center of the church stood a blurred figure.

As if it had been lying in water clothes soaked and torn.Eyes open a question frozen on its face.

"You cannot remain here," calmly

figure did not step forward,But water began spreading across the floor inside the church.

Where had the water come from?,,

he knelt lowered his head.

"What is it that you could not finish?"

His voice changed It was no longer just human. It carried responsibility.figure raised a hand pointed outside.

Toward the graves behind the church.

he stood, opened the door, rain struck his face like cold blades.

Among the graves, one patch of soil looked new.recently disturbed. placed his hand on it.

Cold…,,rising from within.

"This was not an accident,"

soil shifted slightly, Silus did not fear.

"I am listening." rain intensified, bell chain trembled again.

This time,,

the bell made a sound.Very faint, but clear. And with that sound another presence appeared behind him.

This one was not what he had called.

It was not asking for help,,

It was waiting.

Silus' breath caught for the first time.He did not turn around but he understood.

This was not the shadow of the dead,

Suddenly!!!,,

rain stopped, wind fell silent.soil of the grave cracked open a hand emerged.

Fresh,As if yesterday's warmth still lingered.

"You will find peace,"

But this time there was no answer, bell fell silent again.Inside the church windows,a faint light flickered from within.

he looked up,no fear in his eyes, there was doubt.

From that night onward the bell no longer rang. From that night onward

the graves began to whisper louder.

From that night onward someone else remained inside the church.

but it was not dead.., he understood..

This was only the beginning.....
