It was almost midnight. The small village was completely silent. Everyone was asleep—except Aria.
She sat beside her window, staring at the night sky. Since childhood, she had loved looking at the stars. Her father used to tell her,
"Beyond the sky, there is another world. One day, you will see it."
But her father had disappeared five years ago. No one knew where he had gone.
Tonight felt different.
In the corner of her room stood an old wooden box that had belonged to her father. She had never dared to open it before. But for some reason, she felt a strange pull toward it.
Slowly, she opened the box.
Inside, she found a small blue crystal. It was glowing softly, as if it had light trapped inside it.
The moment Aria touched it, the air in the room became heavy. The wind outside grew stronger.
"What is happening?" she whispered.
Suddenly, a bright blue flash appeared in the sky. The light grew larger and larger—until a massive gate opened above the village.
Something was watching from the other side.
The crystal in her hand began to burn with warmth. Then she heard a strange voice in her mind—
"At last… you have found us."
Aria's heart pounded.
She knew one thing for sure.
Her life would never be the same again.
